You may convince youself your friends your wife...ect but 60G's is a LOT of money for a toy.....I'm betting most could/should be doing somthing better with the money to move their family forward.

Having said that, I want one too.
people are buying boats that cost 60000$ it's a toy too..

As the year has gone by I realize how much I like my Enclave for being more modern within its segment. But for 60K, I think I would prefer soft touch materials and at least a modern center stack with such common features like dual zone AC, or memory seats, or even a touch screen lcd or at least a decent radio.

I realize what Im getting for the money witht the ZL1. Just put it in a more modern and standard for the time interior comforts.
i agree too,as far as the zl-1 is pushed towards performance i don't like the way they stick with the old style of gauges at the shifter..

they should of do a different kind of dash and bring the vital gauges up to eye level.. how can you read them?? you have to take off your eyes from the road to take a look at them.. and i hate that head up display the logo's are from the 80's !!

some might say it is the "size" not the price.

I got an estimate from my insurance agent on the ZL1 using the SS as a base. It was the best they could do a fee weeks ago until GM provides the info they need to accurately rate it. I was surprised that my insurance on two cars was almost doubling with the multi car discount and the ZL 1 being listed as a pleasure vehicle. Oh well, things usually cost more than you expect.
