I love my dog ace (a Siberian husky) but I wouldn't put him in my camaro. I take either my mom sister or dads car for that. He sheds way to much and I'm scared he would ruin my tints or door panels

120LB doberman, don't think she'd fit.

ever thought about putting her on a diet? 120lbs for a doberman is about 25lbs overweight. specially a female. but yea... I'm a bit bigger than that and I fit just fine. so I'm sure she would as well.

but yea. I've 3 dogs all off which have ridden in my car. they know the rules better than most people, sad to say. as for cats, they could all be euthanized into extinction and i think I'd be more than ok with it... I see one near my car and I'm shooting at it. just saying...

actually, she's been on a diet for awhile now, so she may weigh less. hopefully weighs less. but she's huge, 120 was the most the vet wanted her to be, and prefers her to get down to 100.

anyhow, even though I could probably cram her in there, the opening to get into the back seat is small enough I don't think she'd go. and at 120lbs, if she doesn't want to go she typically doesn't go.

My dog is around 200 and fits, so she would fit at 120. Now actually getting her to go if she doesn't want to go is another story. LOL

Our Pom goes with us when we are going to be gone overnight. She travels in a small crate on top of a large towel on the folded down rear seat. She enjoys going on trips with us and shedding hair has never been a problem.

haha I admit I'm right there with you. my dogs are fat too. I had a 130+lbs German shepherd named Zeus. head was HUGE. we actually had a police officer ask us if we would consider breeding him. but we had him neutered at 8 months so it wasn't going to happen lol. he was nearly 14 before we had to put him down. awesome dog and he went everywhere with us. in any car.

when I bought her the breeder told me he almost changed his mind. said was thinking about keeping her for his breeding program but didn't need another one at the time. told me if he'd been looking for another female to breed he would have kept her.

Yup. Just had my dog in the 'vert on Saturday. He's a miniature Schnauzer - so a relatively small dog. I put a towel down on the front seat and he's good to go. I should put a a leather helmet, a pair of goggles and a white scarf on him for the total package.

I do allow our family pet in the back seat but since he is a small yorkie I don't mind putting a blanket down and he lies or sleeps on that. No muss or hair so all is good.
