Vrooma's Classy Night Fury Cammed 2012 CRT 2SS/RS Build Thread [COTW 5/12/14]

resprayed the lower fascia, sprayed the upper, installed my ZL1 grille, black CAI from CAI inc. "relocated" the washer bottle, cut out the plastic for the race scoop I will eventually get.

Got my new fogs! Had to modify them a little cause I have a 2012. They look great, just a little cooler than the stock halos. Waiting on Ofer's harness so they stay on the whole time.

Alright, so ive learned my lesson with LEDs. I see that you need to bite the bullet, and pay a little more to get quality up front.

No more IJDMToy.

Just ordered some stuff from V-Leds, and AAC has been good to me so far. Ofer's harness is obviously a great product.

I am going to do a full DIY on installing the switchback turn signals when I get them, as there seems to be a lot of people with issues.

Once i finish my fogs and turnsignals up. Then put my SLP gill inserts on, ill probably do another night photoshoot. And I guess put my name in the hat for COTW.

Seems like you need a supercharger to get it, but I wont be doing any more mods for a while lol.

Dude sweet looking ride side you use vinyl to pinstripe your wheels or did you have them painted they look killer keep up the good work

And yea no kidding it seems like you have to do some insane engine mods and a whole new set up to get car of the week haha there isn't just a simply good looking exterior and interior modded car that wins it has to be a whole set up haha oh well we can keep trying

I used vinyl, when I was doing it I wasnt sure If I was going to like it. But I really like it. The car/rims would be naked without the pinstripe. And it holds up great.

Not that you can really see the seam on mine, but Ive seen someone do a seamless version where they took a giant piece of vinyl, put it over the entire rim, then just cut the pinstripe out.

Haha I really havent done that much but thanks man thats a huge compliment, You have a whole build thread and story to go with that looks great man i only just started haha so i know im a ways off

Thanks guys! Hope to have some more done this weekend! Can't wait for my switchback turn signals. And the SLP gill inserts are something I've wanted to put in since I got the car

Finished up my switchbacks. Still have one mismatched fog. Waiting on my replacement.
