I was 1 of 3 test cars that K&N used for fitting on the 2010 camaro and they said that we will get the first ones out there, Per K&N we will get them up to 30 days before the dealers.

Did I miss something 2SSRS? I thought you were one of the testers for the Vararam product and spoke highly about it in another thread. Are you saying you are going to go with the K&N product instead?

thanks for the info guys. I've always liked the K&N and had good experiences with them. Should make 15 additional hp I'm hoping. I just don't have the experience with the other systems available and want to stick with what I'm used to. Guess I'll be waiting until at least November. I'm surprised how long it is taking to get into production. All sorts of aftermarket products have been available for the 2010 Camaro for months now, including exhaust systems and superchargers.

2SSRS--did K&N give you any indication of why it was taking so long?

Yes i am the tester for the Vararam But i am also one of three test fit cars that K&N used in the making of there CAI, i let a lot of manufacturers use my car for R&D to make us parts, There are ppl that will never buy Vararam units and there are ones that will mot get K&N and so on, It is better to have 15 CAI on the market Than one, As for my the unit on my car now is the one for me.

I call 2 time's a month and all that i get is that it was the tooling that is taking to long, As soon as i find out i will let you know its on the way.
