According to some, a ZL1 can outrun a GS Corvette on both a 1/4 mile and road race track (HPDE). Do you think the existence of a 580 HP ZL1 Camaro has in anyway, shape, or form, disuaded a person interested in a 436 HP GS Corvette from buying one ?

Probably not after the times of "real" production ZL1's started coming out.
