Supercharged right from the factory and covered by the factory warranty, Performance modes designed into the car and designed right from the start to be raced on the drag strip.
I'll probably never take it to the track, but just the peace of mind knowing that I could, and that it was designed for that level of stress.
Also the mag ride.

What the hell are you talking about! If we did not love the hell out of these cars we would not be so pissed about the top problems. The vast majority of want to keep our cars and would get another without a second thought if our present one could not be fixed!

I am as happy as one can be with a new, well 1 year old, Camaro SS convertible. Haven't had the dealer fix even one problem, though I do get some top compression marks less than 1" that come out. Only alternatives for me would be a Lexus or Mercedes vert, they are nice but still they would not be a Camaro SS. :(

Not upgrading to the ZL1 'cause I don't want to spend another $20K and lose 1/3 of my hwy gas mileage (yes I'm one of those who cares). But nonetheless, the ZL1 is an awesome machine!

Brandon, thanks for your presence here.

If I never put the top down and never drive it in the rain, then all I have to worry about is the bubbly leather dash and the air-bag service light.

I'm happy (with less than 200 miles so far).

Can you post some pics of the "bubbly dash"? that would be interesting to see & also let others know what to look for. Thanks!

I started saving for this car as soon as I saw the concept at the auto show in 2007. It did not disappoint me, and I still love the car. One top replacement last year in June, plus the recent TSB's, and had the tonneau cover blow off once after over 2 hours of highway driving. The dealership and GM have been very accommodating. I've always preached for years that you should never buy the first production year of any car model, but I couldn't help myself...I had to have this car!

Considering the convertible top has been around since BEFORE the invention of the automobile, its disappointing that this feature still causes problems for every auto maker.

Bottom Line: I love driving this car, and still find excuses to take it out. We spent last weekend driving up the old route 666 (Coronado Trail) to Show Low, AZ. 350 miles and over 400 curves. One of the best days I've spent in the car!

We are glad to have you as part of the Camaro family. What is your favorite feature of the Camaro? It is very nice that you have a dealership that you are loyal to for years. If you want me to pass on the compliments to the dealership, please PM me with any details.

no worries, there, I'm already aware of basically what it says, and I'm fine with what's covered and what's not.
