Anyone else talk to the guy with that blue '67 SS??? Kind of an ass.... NO love for the 5th gen at all, and he wasn't ashamed to show it "Anyone can go out and buy a new car." "They look nothing like a Camaro - they look like a Cadillac" wow. just wow.

dont worry about it you would get that every where you go even with the 3rd & 4th gen camaros.

Nice pics Forged! I snapped a quick shot of each of our cars front end. I origionally wanted to try to get a shot of each car with its owner(s) standing next to it, but didnt get a chance, so here we go! I think I missed one, a VR SS, if I recall there was a bunch of people huddled around the front of it and I forgot to come back for a pic when it was clear.. sorry bout that!

Anyone know who this guy is, or talk to him, the two toned yellow SS?

I spotted this.... dream on me!

Thanks alot! Maybe I am a little over enthusiastic about it, but damn, it was a lot more work than I thought. Once I got the cloth pieces stripped and painted, i couldnt stop there, I had to do all of em! Here is just a quick shot.

Tammy is right. I find a lot of people in the Camaro world have their own biases and preferences. I was even surprised to discover that there was a rift between the 67,68 owners and the 69 people. Let's face it, I've run across a few 5th gen owners that are asses. I just like the Camaro period. I like and appreciate them all for what they are. And when I think of it, Mustang owners might think I'm an ass...and I'm okay with that.

i think they are jealous as even a 6 cyl can beat them down the track now, they hate that they cannot match us, thats why they are so angry! i just remind them that their car was new once and that the 50's guys said that their 67-69 was just "another" new car and shouldnt be even classified as a "muscle" car!!

It's good to know that there are some cool people out there who can just appreciate a nice car.. Had a Challenger R/T behind me in the drive through lane..

I can see that we both noticed each other checking out each other's cars through the mirrors.. He yelled out "NICE!! I LIKE IT!!"

I said back, "Hey, I like your R/T as well!! It's sweet!"

There's always going to be Snobs and haters out there.. if it wasn't cars, they'd be a snob or a hater about something else..

I wasn't going spot this but while waiting for everyone to meet up at Walmart. I helped out a Ford Ranger that had a dead battery. After I got him started he gave us all a thumbs up on our cars.

lol yea just go to the meetings & you hear about the 1st gen battles by larry, dale & a few others lol. (but thats between friends)

Heck there is a big battle with the 2nd gens as well, the 70-73 guys (who think their cars are the best because they have full metal bodies & the real cars) to the soft bumber boys of the 74-77 guys & the other 78-81 guys.

the battle of the 3rd gen isnt as bad, just the 87-92 guys (we got the better engine type crap) & then the 4th gen guys with the Lt1 & the LS1 engines.

lol its not that way in the meetings lol. we tend to leave that kind of stuff at the door, most of the time lol.

the 67 & 69 thing is all about friendships. lol.

Normally its like oh the 67s all drove down to reno while the 69s were all trailered lol that kind of stuff.

It's not that bad! More like good natured ribbing between friends when BS-ing.
They are actually fun people to hang around. Even Tammy is good for a laugh once in awhile. Anyway, Mag and I are there, so you know it has to be cool!
