Brandon,
I have had an order in for a 2SS with NAV. The constraint still shows "greater than 4 weeks". What gives if the NAV radio is supposed to be available for early August production. Shouldn't the constraint be lifted by now for a TPW of early August? Any info you can give will be most helpful.

Almost 10 different people have asked if this can be retrofitted into 2010-2012 Camaro's since this thread started and nobody has addressed any of them. I'm guessing nobody knows guys. The wait to know continues....

Has anybody mentioned that this should have been standard on MY 2010 and up because the 2010-2012 MY factory radio unit is a f'in JOKE!

So no physical CDs can be used with myLink? I still buy CDs. Wtf. CDs are still artists main source of selling music. Just doesn't make sense.

On top of that you need to have map updates that cost $? Chevy needs to take a page out of Dodge's play book.

I just don't understand why GM does half ass crap. I was excited but now I rather have a '12 by the looks of it without myLink. Seems to be a burden more so then an upgrade for us.

Wow, that has to be one of the ugliest things I've ever seen in a car! How can such a great looking car have such a horrible center dash?

Since last year, digital sales have outsold CDs. Physical media is dying. Be it books, movies or music. I know some people want to cling to their CDs that are prone to scratches and can only hold a little over an hour of music but the times are changing.

Not sure why people are so up in arms over this head unit. To me it's progress and I honestly think it should have been standard 3 years ago.

The old head unit will still be available on the LS. It is possible that the mylink/nav can be retrofitted to a 2010/11 however they will then loose the central locking button as the 2012 have redundant controls on the dash and doors. 2013 will have the doors. So if you retro fit it will require you to manual lock the doors and pull the handle twice to unlock/exit.

There is someone looking into it/working on it. 2SSRS (Ofer) has and is working on this and if you check the various threads, he stated that "It can be done." We had this same problem/issue with the HUD, people and dealerships said it could not be done, and the only way to get this feature is to trade in your car. Well I know of at least 48 2010 Camaro owners who now have the HUD in their 2010 Camaros.

I am kind of surprised that the rear camera does will not have the range lines. Considering it looks like it uses a fish eye/wide lens, I would think it would be a good idea to have.

I also don't understand why the DIC on the Camaro has still been the same. It looks like technology from 90's cellphones. The DIC that was posted from another car looks way better.

You can get nav. It will be available later in the year.
