Bought my first Camaro when I was 17, it was a red 67 RS. 39 years later I bought my 2013 2LT/RS convert. I try and find any excuse I can to take her out for a ride or at least go out and visit her in the garage. Now that I'm 56 years old, this Camaro makes me feel like I'm 17 again.

Getting Solo High Flow Cats installed this Sunday---my Ash Grey beauty just keeps getting better, and after this it will be tire/wheel upgrade time. Really like my stock 18" Alloy wheels @ only 23lbs each, but need better tires and the 20" lower profile looks much better.

Love mine as well, just wish it was green.

It's tough being orange.

I like reading these kinds of threads since I am a new owner of a 2013 1LS Manual 6 speed in Blue Ray Metallic. Love the color and everythday ing about the Camaro. It is well balanced to me and really fun to drive. Getting on the freeway this morning the stupid onramp had the signal lights going and I am net to a big bobtail delivery truck so of course he gets the green in his lane to get on the freeway first...then my light goes green. In my previous ride I would just be stuck behind this truck.
Not today. The truck driver must have been looking at my new Camaro and kept to the right on the onramp and it suddenly dawned on me...
I am in my Camaro and I can get past this guy easily! I punched the throttle and was on the freeway with no problems and past the truck. Made the start to my day much better...

Thanks, not many mods yet, other than some chrome trim pieces. I do plan to add the sport bar real soon and thinking about changing the exhaust to something louder.

You should ask my wife if I am obsessed with my girl. She will tell you that's a understatement and she is right. I feel in love with the 5th Generation Camaros since I first saw it in Hawaii Five O Tv show. Three years later I own a Blue Ray 1LT RS and I had it for almost 2 months now. Everyday I think about it and think of places to go just to drive it. I told my wife before I got her that I just wanted the base model but that changed. I then told her I'm going to leave it stock. Really, that was my plan at first before I found this site. After reading and learning I started to get the modding bug once again. Yes, I'm weak here about that. I never owned a car that I didn't mod. I tried very hard not to but I failed badly. I already put over $4000 in improvements already and still have another 4 grand to go or more. Wifey not too happy. I love my Camaro and will never go back and will drive it until the wheels fall off or when I die which ever comes first.I owned a 97 BMW M3 and I like my baby much better. Plus, the mods are cheaper then the bimmer.
