Damn it.I still don't have money for those mods. The leaf blower turbo for 500 hp is definitely on my mods list.

You can make a bread box outperform anything if it's done right.
Really ? Just by saying you can make a SS just as good as the ZL1, means is going to cost money. Unless of course you happen to have a Genie in a bottle or you have been "OverHauled" ...

There is more to the ZL1 than just speed, it's more about the cars balance. It's one of those things you wouldn't understand without first hand experience with the car.

I'd like a zl1 but I love my SS. If someone dropped a 56000.00 check on my doorstep to be used on either a zl1 or mods for my SS... I would mod my SS.

Now if I won the lottery... hehe I'd have a first Gen ZL1, a Fifth Gen zl1, a 1SS with enough mods to make it un-streetable, and a giraffe. Because giraffes are cool.

So if you could keep your camaro and someone gave you a FREE ZL1, would you take it and keep it or would you take it and sell it?

I'd sell them both and buy something nicer. Like a used Z06 or a used GT-R.

This is starting to sound like the "If you had three wishes" game my children play. I guess this is the point where I have to say that one of the wishes can't be for 3 more wishes.

I could buy a ZL1 if I really wanted one so it's not a money issue. The only Camaro I'm keeping an eye out for is the Z/28 when they finally make one. That may seriously tempt me to add another Camaro to the "family".

Anybody who has a Camaro has a great car; no need to be "envious" of anybody else.
WOW! Sweet picture. What is your favorite feature? Please let us know.

I couldn't be more content. Sure, I plan to do mods, but the lack of mods to my car doesn't make me envy those who have it.

But I did envy the shit out of Camaro owners, before I myself became one.

Thank you. It's hard to pick just one feature. I think I like the overall feel of the car; the looks, balance and sheer pleasure of driving such a wonderful machine. When I'm on the road I feel like an eagle in the midst of pigeons compared to the other vehicles around me. The Camaro is a special car; mine still evokes stares and rubber-necking when I'm out in it and it's 3 years old next month!

There isn't any other American car I'd rather have.

Interesting, maybe there this thread should be a poll. I know that If someone offered me a free ZL1 I would take it. If someone offered to trade their ZL1 for my SS (with equivalent milege) I would also take it. The reason is that it would be worth more money and it is faster.

However, I prefer the looks of the SS over those of the ZL1 (essentially the hood); and even though I can upgrade to the ZL1 I. I am very satisfied with my SS.

And those who have the V8 envy the ZL1?

actually no, I might be one of the few, but I don't like the ZL1,(got to see one in LC on the showroom floor) it reminds me of a dodge(FU Dick Poe) with the design on the hood. I love my car, I have my dream one.
