i believe i will make a few passes, im hoping two inches more of tread on the back will help traction, even though theyre street tires.

Well guys I’m hoping that my new baby will be registered and tagged before the 20th. I got er' back up and running and I still have to have my buddy do some interior work before I bring her out. (Can’t have yall laugh at me when cosmetics need to be done) I am plenty excited about my new project car and so far from the little bit of driving ive been able to do with it I feel like a few tweaks and she will make it just fine to Bradenton and back, but if not this months meet then next for sure. All though this is my personal car (not my daily) I am seeking sponsorship from local businesses and already have two lined up for paint and interior work. It will take a lot of time but I do plan to have in time a nice show and strip play toy, any input is welcome. If I'm not driving my own this month ill see you all there riddin shotgun with my dad.

MODERN MUSCLE SHOOTOUT

Just a reminder, the Southwest Florida Camaro Club cruise from Fort Myers to Bradenton will leave the rest area at I-75 and Daniels Parkway at 6:45AM this Saturday. Please arrive early.

We will meet near the comfort station in the rest area.

For those north of Fort Myers, that sent their exit information and cell numbers, you will receive a call when the club leaves the rest area with approximate arrival time at your exit and you'll received another call when we're 15 - 20 minutes out.

Come on out Saturday...fun is guaranteed!!!

Tri County will be meeting up at 7:45am in front of Beef O Brady's in the Lakewood Ranch Plaza on Sr64. I shot the word over to TBC as well if anyone wants to meet up there to roll in together to the track.

Robert and I will be at the I-75/Daniels Parkway Rest Area Saturday morning at 6:30. Hope to see many of you there!

I'd also like to mention that I've made two orders from our club's store (www.swflcamaro.com "GEAR" on the link bar). The process was easy and quick. However, as part of the first order the store sent one shirt in the wrong size. At no cost, or hassle to me, they replaced the shirt with the correct size. I couldn't be happier with the shirts and hats I received or the service provided by the Queensboro Shirt Company.

This is an update to the post above:

The Southwest Florida Camaro Club will host its next monthly meet on Saturday, 17 November 2012.

We will be cruising from Fort Myers to Muscle Car City in Punta Gorda and participate in the museum's monthly cruise in/car show and of course tour Muscle Car City's nearly 200 displays (http://www.musclecarcity.net/).

The cruise is open to all Camaro enthusiasts (all generations) in the Southwest Florida region.
We will meet at the rest area at Daniels Parkway and I-75 in Fort Myers and leave there at 8:00AM.

Those traveling from north of Fort Myers can meet the club in the museum's parking lot between 8:45 and 9:00. .

Info from the manager of Muscle Car City "If you are entering our car show you just need to pull in, park and stop up at the DJ truck to register. Registration is free! We do not have early/pre registration for our monthly shows. If you know you will be eating breakfast (diner opens at 8 am) or lunch just let me know time and how many so we can get a table ready for you. Make sure to identify yourselves. We like to take group pictures and acknowledge our groups. I will even twitter your arrival and post you on our face book page."

We plan to park all of the Camaros together and have breakfast in the museum shortly after our arrival.

So, wash your cars and get ready for the fun!

my wife and me are on vacation in Cape Coral and we would love to participate the cruise, but my Camaro is at home in Germany, so it is possible to join as well with my rental car?
