well they are the source of the codes if you haven't tuned them out. so you can look at it two ways, either the parts you installed are the problem or the lack of tune to adjust for them is the problem.

This is a little irrelevant, but I gotta get it off my chest.

One characteristic I hate about certain individuals, mostly those that have no idea what they're talking about, is that they tend to bandwagon like a bunch of idiots. The comments regarding the benefit of hi-flows and the reasons behind a CEL when running LT's are case in point.

I usually (try) to mind my own business and not take sides, but I gotta give credit where credit is due.

Higgs' info has always been on point and incredibly informative, and his comments in this thread are no different.

And to the OP, these threads pop up at least once every 2 weeks. I'm 100% certain this has been covered before in great detail, all it takes is a little digging.

the code is still there, it's a history code now and it could always come on again. the issue is intermittent and the car tests itself from time to time and sometimes it will pass the test, so to speak. it will come back on.

Did you install the headers yourself or have someone do the work? I'm asking because I live in Omaha and was looking for a place to do the work, that could be trusted.

My car had a dyno tune longtubes highflow cats and no mufflers and something went wrong with a computer part or electric something idk I forgot but I told them the mods I had when the service guy asked and they still fixed it under warranty like the same day with no problems.
And what was the point of that bump?
