So to what extent that means, I don't know. Hopefully they are sorting things out with GM and what is rumor and what is truth. I'll keep calling and bugging them though. I'm hoping this weekend when I meet some of the top guys in the Camaro program, that they can sort things out for me and help me get this problem resolved.
As this is a dealer installed item, they are responsible. Don't let them Blame GM cus they don't want to fix it.

You can pretty much take what Johnny Camaro says as gospel.

I'd stay all over the dealer until they acknowledge they have to fix it.

But, I'm sure you already knew that.

Great looking Camaro. The RJT really stands out and is a head turner. Thanks for sharing the pictures and Thank You for supporting GM and Team Camaro.

Well the dealership has a new piece on order for me but they don't know when it will be in. However it is a priority and I have been bumped to the front of the line!

Thank You! And thanks for building my car! I love it!

BTW...You wouldn't happen to know why my car had 49 miles on it when it arrived at the dealer would you?

My dad took the car to the dealer today and had to leave the piece there. So no, sorry. The best pics of it are a page back or so and just of the car without the lip.

It floats in the middle. Funny you mention this though. I was thinking about the stainless steel "bezels" today. The seem rather loose. I will have to see how they are mounted to the GFX panel. If something else is going to fall off the car, my guess would be these. I am going to ensure they are securely fastened tho so I can avoid a problem.

Jesus, that car is BEAUTIFUL. I wouldn't change a thing on it, personally, but I'm just curious: are you planning to paint the ground effects? I normally say definitely yes, but your car looks perfect the way it is. That was a great call on the color, stripes, ground effects, rims, everything is just perfect! Your car has to be my favorite one on here to date (you probably noticed my low post count, but I have been reading this board for months now...). Have fun with her, hope you find a fix to your problem. Sorry if someone already asked you about your painting/not painting decisions, I'm reading through the thread now.

I had the same problem with mine I ended up taking the front piece off cuz it doesnt add too much to the car but i have mine painted black on my black 2SS. The dealer should put screws in the middle of the ground effects because of the weight of the front piece there is nothing to hold it up but it is a easy fix.

I have bought practically the same car. But I did go with white stripes and no ground effects (just personnal preference but I think the car look better without em - but that is one beautiful car - it is the best looking one I have seen on the board. Nice for me to be able to see the RJT with the wheels I bought. Interesting that mine was 43k + and I didn't buy the ground effects

Congrats! you did good!

It's easier to list the options I didn't get...

Engine Block Heater
Stainless Steel Gas Door
Car Cover - I want this, didn't know it was available.

I believe the final sticker was around 43k

This is my first post as I have just signed up here. I am a proud owner of a fully optioned out 2010 Camaro 2SS/RS. There are a few pictures of it below. I have a problem tho and am wondering if I can find my answer here. The front GFX piece came loose in the center under normal highway wind loads and was dragged for miles before I brought her home and noticed it. It was hanging down in the middle and worn through. It was still attached on the sides because of the clips and bolts but all the double stick adhesive was only stuck to the GFX piece, not the front fascia. I've been working with the dealership when I can to figure this dilema out. Well last night I met another 2010 SS owner with GFX and he said his are the "new design" his were not on his car, as they were being painted black to match his black car. He said his does not have a "underbelly" like mine did. And it is attached differently. As far as I can tell from looking at the dealership installation manual for the GFX, mine were installed properly to GM specs. Well that's fine, but it doesn't work!!! I've heard that others on this board are starting to have the same problem.

Can anyone shed some light on this topic for me???
thats what mine looks like getting it either mon/tues/weds except mine has black stripes
