Nothing new this morning. Everyone we have talked to says they are "working on it" but we don't have any real information about what can be done.

I'm glad people decided to email me, otherwise i would not have known anything about this issue! I am the internet sales manager at W-K in Sedalia, Mo.

Julie. Let's get this fixed for you.

Trust me guys, WK isn't trying to price gouge anyone.

When we mark a vehicle up over MSRP it is because we don't WANT to sell it... we want to use it as a vehicle to base Orders off of... so that customers can have something to touch and look at in person before spending their hard earned cash.

The $5000 over MSRP decision was made after we had our unveiling party... where our 1 and only Camaro for people to look at ... was sold within 10 minutes of being uncovered... :( We had to make a decision...

Sell the Camaro we were just allocated for list price ( like we have every single Camaro we have sold thus far...) OR mark this one up... so that we can keep it for more than 10 minutes, and have something for people to base their ordering decision off of..

This was an allocation switch that came from our GM district sales rep..

He said " Hey guys, you have ordered quite a few Camaros... would you like an allocation for another?? "

We said " yes that would be fine "

He re-invoiced the vehicle to us, and that's that.

We knew NOTHING about Julie.

Trust me, this is my #1 priority... im an avid enthusiast myself and sponsor/mod on more than one automotive forum... I plan on getting this issue resolved immediately.

If anyone has any specific questions please email me directly at dustin@wkchevy.com

BTW, that original can't sell the car to another dealer if it was diverted by GM in the first place. It would be rebilled by GM to the second dealer.

W-K is not the shady dealer trying to jerk around a customer..

We are just a dealer who is caught in the middle of this situation.

That other dealer didn't broker the car. I can assure everyone of that fact.

This was allll GM's doing.

When we got the GM allocation from our district GM rep, he ALSO said the only way for us to get this camaro allocated to us was to take a shipment of CTS wagons that no other dealer would accept.... eek... wagons... great. :(

instead of marking the car up and looking like an arswipe, why not just say it is sold and take numbers of prospects for when you'r done parading it. marking up a car will surely be noticed and likely wind up on here. see how many you sell after that.

It's nice that this can be handled at your level, trust me the CEO is getting a letter from her today, it would be nice if you can nip this in the bud and let everyone know that she has been takien care of. We need more dealers that are willing to help out with the closure orders. We all are paitiently waiting to hear from Julie. Thanks
