Glad to hear you don't have any issues but How's the AM sounding? Even if you find it irrelevant, I'm curious about that issue so if you don't mind, please let me know.

Does it not work on the key FOB, the button on the door, or the button on the kit?

I don't frequent the AM channels so I don't know how this compares but I get about 10 stations fairly clearly + a bit of static.

The button on the Scosche kit doesn't work and I have a 2010 so no door buttons. I have to reach over and pull the handle to unlock the passenger door.

Anyone happen to know which wire that is on the harness?

Ok so I take back what I said about no issues... My key fob now only works within a few feet It was working fine yesterday

Maybe I'll try grounding the Scosche ground cable next.

After grounding the Scosche ground wire to the chassis. I disconnected the unit and reconnected it per the Scosche instructions and my key fob range immediately came back. Unfortunately it then disappeared 2 days later again so no dice on the grounding.

Called them for an update. They claim technicians werent able to replicate Keyfob issue or TPMS issue. That they suggest i replace the kit for the TPMS issue (again) This timethey would replace teh unit and harness. I dunno maybe some more people should call (800-363-4490 ext 3) so they can try again to replicate the issues. Im not paying shop time until i know they have a fix.

I have had three other members PM me with similar issues, so I want to see if there are others seeing issues with their Scosche kit.
=================================================
Here are my issues:

Issue #1:
Both of the key FOB would only work when I was within 8 feet or so of the car. Page 2-3 says it should be 65 feet. I changed the battery on both FOBs and the issue persisted. The FOBs were also replaced. Here is a video showing the issue

Issue #2:
I programmed my Universal Remote System to work with my garage door. This is also a feature I had on my 2010 Camaro SS. The signal of the URS is limited to approx. 8 feet from the antenna of the garage door.

Issue #3:
I intermittently receive an alert for the tire pressure monitoring system. Both rear tires sometimes lose signal with the vehicle. The reading was displayed as “—“

Issue #4:
Sometimes when opening the trunk with the FOB, the locking mechanism engaged twice. (Unlock then lock). This prevents the trunk from latching closed. I have to hit the FOB again to unlock the latch before it would close.

Issue #5:
The "auto door unlock" settings always default back to "driver door" once the menu is exited.
=================================================

When the Scosche kit is disconnected from the car, issue#1 immediately goes away. Issues 2,3,and 4 have not reoccured after two weeks of waiting.

As best as I can tell:
It appears that the Scosche kit is sending some sort of signal down the communication bus that is interfering with the "Remote Door Lock Controller Module" (RDLCM) via the Body Control Module (BCM).

Are any other Scosche users having weird electronic-like issues?
I have issues #1, and #3. Also my AM radio doesnt work. =( This is with the Alpine Kit though, not the scosche.

Can you tell if they waited a few days? there are reports on here it works fine at first then after a day or two if fails on the distance.....perhaps the techs are restarting it, trying seeing it work and saying were good....

Has anyone directed them to this thread perhaps to see what is happening?
