Would be awesome =) I'd really like to install one soon and your design is much better than the ones available aftermarket. Since it may save 1 mpg, over the life time of the car it would for sure make up the cost of making one, even if I bought an aftermarket one.

Are you going to block out the middle section kind of like how they do it on the Corvette?

Not sure though.

Yea curious about that as well, it's the same on the Civic Hybrids with belly pans.

Decided to just pick up one from the dealership and just install the OEM part. Went over to a buddy's shop to use his lift.

I was able to use the license plate frame nuts for the rectangular slots, picked up a bunch for 6 bucks (11 spots if you want to put use all the bolt holes)

For the front since we know the base model bumper does not mate up to the belly pan/splash guard I just drilled holes to allow the stock fasteners to bolt up.

And then done, was pretty painless and it's in there good.

Nice! Do you have the ZL1 front end?

Thanks. I have the 2013 base model, would be nice to have the ZL1 bumper, but that's the reason I drilled holes in the front of the belly pan and used the existing fasteners to bolt it down in the front. It would be a direct bolt on if I had the ZL1 bumper though since all the spots that needed a bolt I was able to affix with the square push in nylon nut, which was 11 spots.
