First off i want to congratulate the Lansing Grand River Assembly Team i know they will do a fantastic job on the new 6thGen Camaro they have done great work in getting the CTS and ATS to market , and with the addition of Camaro in the 2015-16 time-frame i'm confident they'll pull the job off without a hitch .

In the meantime , all of us here in Oshawa will continue to build world class Camaro's , Cadillac's, Buick's & Impala's

We can proudly say to everyone , that we were part of the great re-birth of the 5thGen Camaro I think i can speak for most here , that we put our heart and soul into getting this car built right , and strived to make it a world class vehicle , and i can honestly say that job was accomplished .

I have been involved with the Camaro since pre-production and its been an honor to help build your vehicles from stamping to final roll-off , i have made life long friends right across North America and always look forward to meeting new Camaro owners .

In closing , we here in Oshawa will continue to build your 5thGens right to the end with pride and the knowledge that Lansing Grand River will take our Camaro torch and continue the long tradition of building world class vehicles .

I once again Thank all of you for supporting GM and Team Camaro over the years

Merry Christmas to all of you and your families , from all of us here in Oshawa Warm Regards from Canada .

Mike,

It has been a pleasure meeting and all the hard working people at the Oshawa Plant, you guys have built our dream cars and as you can see from the out pouring here on Camaro5 we will NEVER forget all of you at the plant. Oshawa is where my car was born and it will always be its home.

I know you will still be building cars up there but I cant help but feel this is a kick in the gut to loose something you guys up there have worked sooo hard on, only to see it moved on to another plant :(

Thank you (and Linda L)and all once again for all the hard work!

Camaro Brothers and Sisters

Thank You for your kind words myself and Linda Landrey are both proud to be a part of your Camaro Build Team and we look forward to finishing up the job given to Oshawa ( although with alot of sadness ! )

I have been asked what will happen to the plant ? As of today we will continue to build Cadillac XTS , Buick Regal , and the all new 2014 Impala .

What will fill the hole with the loss of Camaro is anybody's guess ? The new Impala is a game changer for Chevrolet , it is stunning and will be another grand-slam for GM , if you have not seen one yet , go to your local auto shows and take a peek you will be impressed !

What will i do after Camaro leaves ? My plan is to see the last 5thGen off the line sometime in 2015 , and if everything works out sign my retirement papers to exit in summer/fall 2016 .

Until then i/we will build with pride and hold our heads high knowing we have built a classic for the greatest customers you the members of C5.

As the thread says " Thanks ....But not Good-Bye " I'll save the final adios to 2016 .

Wishing all of you and your families a very Happy 2013

Thank You all for supporting GM and Team Camaro & warm regards from Oshawa

I would like to thank Mike and the rest of the Camaro Build Team for making my ZL1
build one of the most exciting times in my life. Being able to talk to a member of the team while the car was being driven off the assembly line and knowing the Vin that night was awesome. Plus as a bonus, Mike got the individuals that built my car to sign a broucher for me was over the top. The Oshawa team has done an outstanding job on the Gen5 Camaros. I have 2 of them, 2010 SS/RS + 2012 ZL1 and wont trade them for anything.
I created a thread back in June to show my appreciation to Mike and Company for all they have done, but felt I should say one last (THANKS)
I still want to meet the legend in person, so I am not going to say Good-Bye just until we meet.

Thumbs up THANKS MIKE JUDGE AND OSHAWA CREW

Mike and Fellow Builders! You are true craftsmen (and women) and the love and joy you have brought to countless thousands because of your work is immeasurable. I for one got teary when I read the news of the move. At some point I might buy a 6th generation. But Orange Krate must stay with me for as long as I am on this planet. Therefore I will ALWAYS have a good Canadian by my side. The folks at Lansing are going to have to get up extra early in the morning to meet or beat the fit and finish of the product you folks are cranking out at the finish line. Thanks again for making me Lithograph recipient #182! I cherish this gift as much as the car itself because I know where the love comes from.

Wishing you and all the good folks at the big "O" plant well for 2013!

Mike,

I pre-ordered my 2010 Camaro and it was delivered in September, 2009. Buying a first year car generates a lot of apprehension in most people.

When I picked mine up from the dealership, it was the first and only time it has ever been in a dealership service bay. We have run at autocross events every summer, which isn't exactly gentle on most of the moving parts.

Thank you for excellent build quality and please pass along my thanks to your co-workers.

I'll add my little story and background on knowing Mr.Judge.....

I actually knew of Mike before the 5th gen Camaro's came out in '09,you see Mike is also a member of a GM truck forum I'm a moderator on,so we exchanged a couple PM's on there before I was a member on here, fast forward a couple years later and I PM'd him in the Fall of 2010 letting him know I was going to order a new Camaro after the new year,he responded back saying to let him know as soon as I ordered it,I did just that,he then took my order number and watched for my cars order at the plant, once he saw it he let me know when my car was in the order queue, after that he emailed me everyday, sometimes twice a day to let me know where my car was along the assembly process, all the way from the beginning of it getting "framed",to paint,to the final assembly,he also assured me that he inspected it every step of the way in the process.
My car arrived Feb.11th in perfect condition,a month later I received litho #190 from Mike,I was surprised to say the least

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showpo...16&postcount=1

This past year I also received Oshawa homecoming print #120,again I was surprised

Thanks again Mike for all you and the entire Oshawa build team do everyday!
May 2013 bring you and yours much joy and happiness, and hope to see you at this years BBOMG event in Detroit
