Damn man that sucks! I would be pi**ed beyond belief if I was paying a $1000 note on something that I couldn't enjoy. To the OP I hope this issue gets resolved for you.

The car didn't make this noise at the dealer when I picked it up with 11 miles on it, when I got home 80 miles later it was chattering its teeth like a chihuahua in the cold rain.

I had the car out Sunday to a car show and let everyone listen to the car that looked at it. Everyone was so impressed with the quality for the money.

Yours is louder than the norm. It would be good to know what makes it so much louder.

I believe the blower part suppliers should stand behind their product as well or GM should take bids for a more reliable blower supplier. I have been hesitant to purchase a new Camaro due to the gremlins and unacceptable and continued quality issues. It's been about 4 yrs got the Camaro and still I read GM quality is rated high despite ongoing quality issues as per customers posting .

Darn spell check. Meant to say the new Camaro Gen5 has been around 4 years already and still has gremlins and persistent blower issues .

All cars have problems, whats important is if they stand behind their product or not.

Z28man2...interesting reading at this link. Sounds like they might be onto something...I have been reading about your issues, and I would also say that is doesn't matter whether it costs $56k or $19k, GM should and will take care of it...Good luck...I have all the confidence in the world in GM.

BTW...I drove a 2012 ZL1 with 7,500 miles and did NOT hear any noise from the engine...and believe me, I would have.....Good Luck again...You are taking the correct approach....

Yes you would have! You wanted a performance car and you got the best in my opinion. I bought a 06 Ford 6.0 powerstroke and had trouble with it right after I bought it also. Ford took care of it and I drove it till 2012 and then I saw a 2500 denalli pickup and bought it. I have always been a GM guy so I went back to them. Do not sweat this GM will take care of it and you will end up a happy camper!
