Damn dude!

That really does suck. I know it must have been gut wrenching to see your baby up there all helpless. But i will say, this is one badass CAR! The window didn't even bust out on a T-Bone! that right there is awsome engineering. The doors are solid so I expect them to hold but man that is one beautiful tank we are all driving. Glad you are ok and every time i go in an intersection i hold my breathe because of idiots like this that always try and make the light, Hope it all works out.

As mentioned above you had it TWO WEEKS! holy shit I feel so bad for you!!
You spent EIGHTEEN times the amount of WAITNG for that car (after ordering), than you did DRIVING.

Please try to sue for mental anguish. Hell I might sue him for mental anguish.
NO beat the hell out of the other guy and claim it was temporary insanity !

Glad you are unhurt.

Sorry for such a downer!

Looks like you were near Mexican Town (looks like the old abandon Train Station).

Detroit has some real idiot drivers -- but I just commented today, that I saw an a-- w---- drive through a red light at about 20mph in front of me to make a right turn (seems no one believes the Right Turn On Red Allowed AFTER STOP) This was in Canton, a half mile from home.

I tell my kids -- Drive like they're all out to get you.

I can only TRY to imagine the pain to lose your Camaro, but thank God you're safe.

So sorry for you man. The same happened to me last night so I know exactly how you feel. I want them to total mine too. I don't want a wrecked car. It's my freakin new car for Pete's sake!

Anyhow, I feel your pain and good luck with it all.

What the heck is up with all the SS's getting bashed and trashed by drivers? Oh and I love the last photo... I mean i hate the damaged car but that tagline should read "We buy junk cars... no not the camaro on top, that's not a junk car."

Glad your ok, Onstar is great to have. I have had a break down last year going through GA and the 2006 Silverado 1500 blew out the transmission and was told by the dealer that my truck was taken to, that it would take a week to get the parts. I was going down to Florida. But having Onstar is Great to have. I have called in to Onstar to report fires on I-95 in Fredericksburg, VA. I will only have a vehicle with Onstar, without Onstar in a vehicle is a SOL. Glad your ok. Cars can be replaced.

You know, neither air bags nor onstar came on with my wreck. I found that strange.

Yeah, I really love OnStar now. That was just incredible.

Manchimp, how hard were you hit? I'd bet that the airbags didn't go off because it didn't register as a side impact... not sure specifically how it works though, as far as speed, direction, etc... very strange indeed though. I just saw your post, glad you're ok.

I wish I had taken a pic of her car. It would show just how hard she hit. Her car was totally trashed. I guess that says something about the Camaro build though. You must have to be hit just right, but i was surprised that neither one went off.
