I'm not a tuner god, but what I have learned here is that the LLT came with a Bosch ECU that has proven difficult to tune. The LFX has a Delphi ECU, which has been easier to work with.

Both have the capability to self-adjust, within reason, for some mods like aftermarket intakes, etc, without tuning. They get feedback from knock sensors and O2 sensors, etc, and make adjustments to A/F ratios and timing to compensate, up to a point.

Well the thing is Di is still pretty new to aftermarket tuners and so no stand alone unit are available, so jealous at my friends who can build their imports from the nothing and just slap aftermarket ecu for it and it works like magic.

Planning on going to the track tomorrow morning. We have been having great DA here this past week or so, in the negatives and def want to take advantage of it.

Alright well here are the rest after a couple of hours at the track. I was having some traction issues (which I knew I was going to have since the track prep isn't the greatest). I messed around with the rear tire pressure and ended up dropping it down to 30psi and was able to get a 60ft. of 2.114. I dropped the pressure down to 28psi and lowered my 60ft by .02 but my ET increased by .06. Drag radials are really going to make a difference. This winter I'll look into a set and buy some . The DA was low but not in the negatives it was 569 on my fastest run but I still ran a 13.8092@101.13. Looks like I got my work cut out for me if i wanna break into the 12s haha. I am planning on going back in 2 weeks where hopefully the DA will be even lower but we will see. Also here is the slip!

Edit: Still happy with the time though it's a new personal best!

Drag radials will definitely help if track prep is less than stellar.

Very nice. Get then 60' down around 1.9 and you will be around 13.4x. Half way there,

Of course it is possible, it just depends how deep your pockets are. Serious weight reductions would be needed which is going to cost a lot.

Not too shabby.

Get some better traction and I see you cutting off at least a few tenths off that if not more. Why wait until next year...get your new tires and rims NOW and run them in two weeks

Kidding...I know we all have budgets to live on lol.
