Hey guys for those of you looking for additional clearance, we now have a solution that looks cool also. PM me for pricing. Its a fraction of the cost of the GM COPO hood.

Sneak peak at the flares. We went a different route on the Z/28 stuff. We had the molds made here instead of Seibon's factories. The guy who did the molds uses to work at Metal Crafter. They are the guys who build a lot of the OE's concept cars. This guy can literally do anything. The flares are too wobbly to make the as a standalone piece. By doing the molds here, we mount the flares to a car and pull the molds right off. This will insure proper fitment.
The first sets were made from fiberglass for test fitment. These parts will be autoclave which will be top shelf! Stay tuned. Wish we could show more of the process but a lot of this work is trade secrets. We don’t want to train the competition, LOL |

My dad is up at Thunderhill for the Optima qualifier this weekend and sent us these pics.
The 1LE built by Raymond's Performance with our carbon on it. The 1LE had our roof, hood, trunk, doors and fenders. I think they are going to cut out some sort of hockey stripe into the wrap to expose the carbon on the doors and fenders, s should look cool. Car was about 300 to 400 lbs lighter then the Z/28. Ken "owner" of both the Z/28 and 1LE was testing yesterday. His comment was he could notice a HUGE difference coming out of the turns as soon a he got on the gas on the 1LE. The 1LE was 2 seconds faster. Just shows that anytime you can drop weight, it makes a HUGE difference. |

Ah yes, now I know why Ken told me I would have to see in person. Forgot about this little additional project he was doing. Looks killer for sure.

How much of that 300-400 pound difference was due to the CF body parts versus other weight savings?

I think you should tell Seibon they should put a rush order on all the camaro parts. At the very minimum, mine. I mean, I am going to florida in a couple weeks. Gotta look good.

Sorry Bud for the tease, LOL. Actually all your parts are in. The diffuser will get dry fitted for you before it ships out. The installer is on vaca next week, so everything will ship out the following week. Cant wait to see everything installed. BTW, we are introducing the new "V" hood and are running a promo for the month of April. Here all the details go here: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=402512 This hood is literally a work of art. |
