This is purely a guess:
Read backwards: el1 41 in Spanish sounds like a reference to Christianity
El Juan or John the Baptist and a reference to the bible.

Then there is this... Pill stamp EL 14 Pharma reference Hydromorphone hydrochloride

Shame on you! j/k

A character combination may violate the personalized plate policy if it contains a combination of characters that could reasonably be seen by a person viewing the plate as:

Profane, obscene, or vulgar in nature.
Sexually explicit or graphic.
Excretory related.
Used to describe intimate body parts or genitals.
Used to describe drugs, drug culture, or drug use.
Used to condone or encourage violence.
Used to describe illegal activities or illegal substances.
Socially, racially, or ethnically offensive or disparaging.

my guess would be that they read it as 14" 1 Long Erection

I think that you're probably right about them thinking that, but that is ridiculous. What reasonable person would see 14 1LE on a Camaro and think "14 inch long erection?" That worker at DPS needs to get their mind out of the gutter.

Well, I got their response back from the appeal. A lot faster than I expected but here is a little of it.

I am very surprised that they reversed their decision, but I am very happy! I have the document all ready to go.

I doubt its someone looking at these...they have all the words phrases etc that are used in a database. It probably kicks it out for someone to look at, but knowing the government they probably have 4 people working where they should have 40, so its probably rubber stamped by whoever visualizes it unless there is a call back on it.

It may very well be the 14 that's the problem...maybe even 1LE means something to them..maybe 1 legion....something arian or something.....

She let me try 10 different things and one worked.
