you wonder how they can be short on rail cars when they were shut down for a week prior to the production week of our cars.

Probably weren't able to ship because of weather so now they are working thru backlog - not just for gm but from a rail perspective.

In North West NJ we still have ice on the ground with pea gravel everywhere. A couple of weeks will give them time to clean the streets.

On the other hand, Canada isn't that far . . . . . road trip?!

Is anybody else getting a code 4300 "intermediate delivery"? I kinda backslid from 4B00. I suppose that indicates at the striping vendor. I was one of the first orders accepted for DTA-Full Length Indy Stripes option which was a "late availability" option.

Also, we should have a "born on date" reunion at a Camarofest.

Has anyone found out if our cars made it on a rail car?

Mine was still showing 4300 as of yesterday, so no change for me. Since it's pretty obvious my car will not be here before month end, I have made arrangements with my salesman to close on my sale next Saturday the 29th. Got the deal re-confirmed, all the incentives lined up and approved, insurance ready to go (I will insure it from closing even without a car just to be safe) and 1.6% financing pre-approved. One upside to doing it this way, at least I won't have to screw around with the business end of things once its ready to roll.

I'm sitting in the airport waiting for a flight to California so, at least I'll keep busy this week in 80 degree weather while they try to get my car out of Canada.

I guess Becky is our only hope regarding any news coming out of Oshawa.

Any "good" salesperson can do the same. Unfortunately, they are few and far between. Mine does a pretty good job keeping me informed but I think most salesmen look at it as time away from selling and therefore a PITA.

I agree! My salesman, while extremely nice, is useless as far as finding out information for me. I've been the one providing him the updates to the status of my car. Which is why Becky's assistance has truly been appreciated.
