Same here...except I also wanted a little rarity in a mass produced car.

The color I ended up choosing was the one color I didn't want. I have 3 other cars that are Black and I was tired of how hard it was to keep clean. So when my hubby and I went to place my order the first time I was dead set on NOT getting Black. No Black...no Black...nooo Black and SOB that was the color I ended up choosing anyways. They had 2 Black Camaros and it was over for me. Hubby tried to get me to get the yellow (which was nice) but it just didn't do it for me. SO I got the Black.

I chose IOM, because it's the deepest shade of color with minimal maintence, to keep clean.

That is my reason, and I have nothing against most of the other colors, they look great. One or two colors I can totally live without...please don't ask which ones, I don't want to offend anyone, and it doesn't really matter.

ABM because it's closest to the code 29 blue on both my '77s. If I had to do it again I think I may have gone with white and the Inferno Orange interior. I love that orange leather. Funny.....the only color I haven't seen in person yet is the ABM.

Yellow, because of the Transformers movies. Also, I've always had "plain" cars, beige or gray. So I've decided I'd go all out on the Camaro! Family and friends still don't believe it. They all go "Nah, you're kidding me! A yellow Camaro? Nah!".

Can't wait for it (her?) to come in!

I chose black because it looks mean at night and during the day. I like smoked gray and inferno orange too.

not at all... no pictures can do RJT justice... it is by far the best looking color of this car and hence hte reason i picked it....

yes it looks maroon or burgundy in osme pictures when the sun isnt out, but in person it does not look like that.. its more like a sleek darker red that just looks bad asss

My last few cars were gray (silver metallc, etc), prior to that I had black cars so after a period of gray I thought I wanted some color without the high level of care black takes, and there was Aqua Blue Metallic, just about right.

Yellow or orange would not work for me, won't do red, and while I think black looks the best, too much work...

Blue is my favorite color also.
