Me too, I'm worried about the painted engine cover, but I don't think I will need to.

That's right, some people have said the view out of a Camaro is limited..But as of August 31st, Camaro's will be built with back up sensors. A new feature for those with cars on order!

Back up sensors will be included on the 2SS, 2LT and 1LT w/SRJ package.

Guess we are getting them my dealer called me and said if it does go on it will increase my cars price when i come to pick it up. He also said the only way i could get out of getting them would be to step down to a 1SS and start the wait over again. I’m not against them but would have liked to know going in. I, like a lot of others have budgeted for this purchase and not that I’m going to walk away now but it does put a hold on some of the aftermarket items I wanted to get.

My interpretation is that 2SS/2LTs will get the sensors added as part of the package.

It would be optional on other models at $295, so adding it would alter the order (pre-3000) and anyone at 3000 would not be able to add it as a factory option.

** Never mind - looks like $295 extra on 2SS/2LT also... **

I ordered last week of July and was at 3000 first week of Aug according to VIZ, but there also was a date of 8/31 next to my 3000 code in his thread, what does this mean? I go to 3000 on 8/31 (my dealer had several allocations when i ordered) or i am scheduled to get TPW on this date, sorry im confused.
