For what it's worth. I noticed the hesitation when just stomping on it. After some trial and error, I load it up to just about 1k and at release I briskly run thru the pedal. No mashing and the hesitation is all but gone.

On a side note, I tried launching with T/C off. Well after fishtailing for 10 foot, run was aborted. Even the stupid accelerometer started flashing ERROR lol.

Thanks for the suggestions. I was going to try a slightly slower throttle also. The last time I tried loading the throttle it did'nt work well for me. But I will try it again. Do you have a manuel ?? I can't spin for more than a foot or two. I have tried w/traction control off and it really does't make much diff.
Thanks again
Ron

I have an auto and I have definitely noticed the hesitation when quickly putting it to the floor. It seems much faster when I more smoothly give it throttle. Not sure why this would be though. Anyone know?

Thinking some of the hesitation is probably due to the torque management... I can see in the data logs where the computer is reducing the timing on some launches...

I took the wife's new lt2 out to a nice new sticky section of blacktop in the country to do a few runs. Measured with Dynolicious so it may not be completely accurate, but pretty close.

Best 0-60 = 5.67 secs - other runs ranged from 5.7 - 6.0

Best 1/4 = 14.30 @ 103.46 - had a couple others 14.4 - 14.5

Nice cool night about 48F, auto tranny in sport mode letting it shift itself. Traction control on. Launch @ about 2500-3000rpm. Car is completely stock - will do some more runs after the axle back exhaust is installed.

Did you do the calibration in the car before your runs? If not, it seems, it would not be very accurate. If you read up on the program, it says it could be off as much as 5% if not calibrated at the same temp that your going to operate it in.

Well.. with 48 degrees the 14.3 could be about right but the 103 MPH is going to be to high...

Yep, calibrated right before I started. I also did runs with PocketDyno and CarTrack on the IPod. Still not sure which one is most accurate.

Yep, I thought the same thing. As a matter of fact, on all the runs, the mph seemed on the high side. I'm gonna dig my GTech pro out of the mini-storage and do some more runs and compare it's numbers side by side with the Ipod apps.

I'm hoping to get out to the track Wednesday night to test the Kat Matrix and the Dynolicious program against the track timing. It doesn't look too good for this week though.... we're supposed to get 2-3 inches of rain from "Ida" this week...

Track is open until end of November... Elevation is 895 feet... Not sure I can break into the 13's even with a cold day.. Ran a 14.3 on Saturday with a DA of 1800... Even if I get the DA down to 0 which would be like 40 degrees, at least 30 inches pressure and low humidity only gets me a 14 flat... argh!!!

Weather permiting, I'll be at Atco Raceway on friday for some runs. I'm in with a track rental with maybe 20 other cars.

Ok John, you got me into this. This will be my first time doing a legit 1/4, any tips? You know the LLT better than anyone that I can see.
