Maybe Chevy's going for a different market, people other than most here. After all their goal is to *sell* cars. If they happen to become classics or desirable after the model year, that's besides the fact - and why I'll never be in Sales.

I've got to much time and money invested in sscarolina to just trade her off... so until life do us part we are ONE.

Not at all. I think the 10-15 will go down in automotive history as one of the great designs. It looks great from any angle, it's had decent quality, the LS3/L99 have been great motors, and even as it is nearing the end of it's life span, it still has performance that compares well to newer designs from Ford and Chrysler, and it still looks fantastic.

The 2016 is probably better in some ways but it doesn't look as good. It's a slightly shrunken and melted version of the original and I don't think it will stand the test of time so well.

The 5th gen is a great car and the 6th gen WILL be a great car also. After all, they're Camaros. I hope to own both one day.

Far from dead for me. I still get excited every time I drive mine and when I see them on the road. I still get looks left and right.

I love my 5th Gen. I wanted the 5th gen since I saw the concept convertibale in a magazine years before its realase. This car is my dream car. I love driving it and love seeing them on the road.

As far as the gen 6 I dont mind it. I like some of the aspects of the interior and the technical aspects are great.

As far as me I will not be running out anytime soon to get the gen 6.

I just took mine for a late night top down drive on lonely country roads, she's still alive and well.

I like the 6th gen just find, and might even consider buying one if the convertible really impresses me, but Samus is a family member and is here to stay.

When the top is down, is your Camaro called Zero Suit Samus?

I don't get why anyone needs to be in either "camp". Every generation of Camaro, like the Corvette as well, brings it's own unique 'something' to the table. Each generation is is it's own work of art.

While the Gen 6 is certainly going to be a better car overall, this in no way takes anything away from the Gen 5. Due to my own impatience, and being somewhat upside down on the car I traded, I'm going to be in my 2011 for a few more years. I will in no way feel bad about driving it.

Definitely getting a 6 speed manual 6th gen before the year is out. Rumor has it (for me) that work is going to really pick back up shortly.

I like how they upped the hp on the v6. And some of the interior looks cool. But first thing I thought when I saw the pics was Mustang. Looks like a Mustang to me. I like the retro look better, if I upgrade it would be a 15 lt. So no 5th gen is not dead to me. I like it better.

My 5th gen isn't going anywhere. The 2016 looks awful to me. Just my two cents.
