to be honest, i think it looks good with the mailslot and without...so, to each their own. and from looking at their website, my guess is cost is going to be around $1,000, plus shipping.

i have two questions:

1. is the cost of painting the hood to match our camaros included in the cost, or is that something we have to pay extra to the shop that receives the order? and i'm planning on using your affiliate out here in costa mesa, ca.

2. can someone photo shop the factory stripes on this hood with the mail slot still there? i'm curious to see how that will look.

Nice shop job.

Can you do a 3-4 cowl hood?

I agree it is tooooo busy with the mail slot that close.

I believe with any after market hood you buy you will have to prep and paint. On a few of these types of threads someone said it would be near impossible to ship a painted unit without damage and I agree. You would get some kind of rub or scuff.

You just need to move next door to where they are fabed.

Nice creation, but the mail slot kills it for sure. Any Ram Air will look weird with the mail slot being there.

the mail slot looks better with the stripes and looks too plain with stripes and no mail slot.

Im interested in this hood depending on price and how the intake looks- for the V6. I agree the opening in the hood should have the horizontal lines instead of that mesh because it doesnt match with the grill. Other than that no mailslot worries over here
