Yes because everyone knows that driving a Camaro is boring if you're not moving your left leg and right arm every now and then. lol

Your ignorance is absolutely astounding. One of these days you'll post something worth responding to. Truly a performance car enthusiast wannabe.

Best you can do is jump in on page 4 of this thread with an insult? Either you're joking or you're the one displaying a generous serving of ignorance here.

Before I ordered my Camaro, I learned to drive a stick on a friend's SRT4. He even had a short throw shifter in there.

I was even pretty good at it.

Then one day, I was sitting in traffic, and it dawned on me: I want to enjoy this car ALL the time, not only in the fantasy land where no traffic exists and every road is some twisty mountain place with no cops.

So when I ordered, I asked for the A6. Let's just say I am not disappointed in the least. This is the year 2009, guys...the performance disparity is gone. A6, M6, V6, V8...we're talking about CAMAROS here...the most badass cars on the road.

Get the car you feel good driving in every day, and don't let some jerk-off on the internet tell you that you have less of a car because he wants to validate the size of his e-peen by telling other people their choices suck.

i didn't have time to read the entire thread but i had a similar dilemma (i had never had my own manual car) but i decided to go with the manual transmission on my SS...

because i'm out of the country on a semester exchange, i only got one weekend to spend with my car when it came in (last weekend) and therefore i had to teach myself how to drive my car in that period of time...i put over 600 miles on my car in 3 days (she now has over 1000 miles because my dad and best friend had been driving it...yes i told them that they could :] ) and honestly it's not too hard to adjust to this car...i became good at it in 3 days so it's possible to learn quickly but like some other members have said under normal circumstances it usually takes a few weeks to a month to get really good at it...i didn't get much sleep last weekend because i didn't want to do anything else but drive my car!

Oh - and about traffic...i had to deal with a little traffic and i started to understand what everyone always talks about having a manual in traffic....but i got used to it and decided that it was just good practice for me and that in the long run for me the benefits of having a manual outweigh the downsides

i have nothing against the automatic version...i just really wanted a manual
