I use the following:
Torq foam gun
cheap electric pressure washer from the box stores
2 oz adams car wash (pink) with 30 oz of water.

it takes about 5 minutes for the foam to sliiiiiide off.

I wash the dirt off/ foam/ let sit/ rinse/ foam again/ then 2 bucket wash if needed

Thanks! I'll order up some of that car wash solution and give it a try. Does the pressure washer make much of a difference, or do you think a hose would do as well (I already use a foam gun, but with my garden hose).

The foam gun is different from the torq. I think its actually called a foam cannon or foam lance.
The foam gun will only foam up like the car in post 97. Ive been using one of those for years. It was time to upgrade.

If you use a gas powered washer(hence more pressure) the foam is supposed to be even thicker.
I have a gas powered one I should try some time just to see the difference.
But I bought the electric due to being easier to just plug in and go.

OK, yeah, mine's just a hose attachment style, and I get about the same foam coverage as in post #97. I own an electric pressure washer, but my storage space is limited so when I'm not using it, it's packed away on a shelf in my tool shed. Not worth the hassle of getting it out every time I wash the car. Thanks for the insight though.
