The other guys are full time, I just handle the Camaro stuff, we are all machinists though, so once things are finalized production is easy.

Thanks again for the positive reviews of the shifter mounts, it is something that I have been working on for a while to come up with an affordable alternative to a billet shifter.
Anything new on the RCA Bushings???

Oh now those look awesome, any increase in NVH from delrin there? Since it's an inboard bushing.

Little update to the shifter bushing: it's broken in a bit so some vibrations have gone away. I did add some dynomat to the transmission tunnel on either side of the bushing and on the bushing itself. Seems to have helped a lot, but I'll be adding some to the shifter arms as well like the MGW shifter to see if I can fully cure it. Not a complaint as the whole car could stand some dynomat/sound deadening material.

How much better than Z28 bushing plus some kind of price point??

Much better than the z/28 bushings IMO. The z/28 bushing is still a bonded rubber bushing, which requires indexing when changing ride height, and adds to spring rate in an uncontrolled manner (contributing to wheel hop). Also, rubber still flexes, even though the z/28 bushing is solid rubber as opposed to the hollow SS bushing shown in the pic.
Still working on price point, should be in line with the other aftermarket rear UCA mounts, we wont know exact price until we make a production run of them, that is when we try to make them efficiently as possible to determine the lowest possible price point.

To address NVH, any time you replace any rubber bushing on these cars, you will get some type of increase of NVH, unless you are still running the stock cradle bushings, they are so soft you can run almost all solid bushings on the suspension and never notice because the subframe bushings absorb the road noise. Even poly cradle bushings hide some of it, but that also means they have flex to them. Now, different people have different levels of tolerance. I will say the rear UCA mounts don't increase noise very much, as the UCA is already mounted to the subframe in one location with a spherical joint, which does not isolate much noise, so changing the rear UCA mount doesn't transmit much more NVH than what is already being transmitted though the front UCA mount.

Thanks for the input, and good advice. A little sound deadening in these cars in the trans tunnel and under the rear seat helps tremendously in noise and vibration levels. The shifter mount in my car has delrin bushings as seen earlier in the thread, and it still doesn't transmit too many vibrations. That is because the stock lever is two pieces, where the parts are bonded with rubber to hide vibrations. An aftermarket solid lever will for sure transmit more vibrations. That is why I like the OEM short throw levers, and why I modify stock SS shift levers for the same throw as the OEM short throw levers, so they still hide the vibrations. Also, I decided to retain the forward two OEM shifter mount bushings on the transmission side, the side the most vibrations come from. In testing, they didn't flex very much, but did isolate noise from the driveline side fairly well.

Just wanted to post after a month of use how much better the feel is of a stock shifter with these new bushings, def worth doing IMO.

Installed the 2012LS3VERT shifter bushings today onto my ZL1 shifter. Wow, what a difference. The sloppiness at the end of each shift travel has almost completely disappeared. Shifts are now super crisp and tight. I highly recommend this simple upgrade. Thanks for the great engineering and product 2012LS3VERT!

Thanks! Happy that you like it, I really like mine. A really good solution for people with factory short throw shifters that want to tighten up the shifter without going full billet. The replacement shift levers don't really help, as the issue is the mount that we are replacing, not the lever itself.

My stock 1LE shifter is considered a short throw,,,,,,, correct ?

So I am assuming that the Pegasus bushings will work on my OEM shifter.

i had one and it was great. definitely recommend dynamat though as you'll get some more noise in the car
