TX Caravan to Camaro5Fest

Made my reservation several weeks ago @ the Grand Biloxi Casino Hotel ( $109.00 )
IFwe go to a group rate I'll be able to get the lower rate but for now I've got
a room there. Don't want to step on anyones toes but if someone wants to call
Ms. Dawn Miner @ ( 228-436-2946 ) and see what it takes to get a group rate
then go for it. I've been there before and they do have a great buffet and steak-
house. Oh!! There's four ( 4 ) floors of covered parking for our Camaros--
After the event the wife and I will be heading to Ft Myers,Fl for a few days--
We"ve taken the Camaro to CC,Tx-- LA.--NM -- AZ -- CA--and back to SA,Tx
Looking forward to our trip in April-- By the way the Camaro now has 11,800
miles. Man--What a Ride---

Grand Casino is just as good too...sounds like a cheaper rate too if we get a group in there...let's go with the Grand since we already have one person with reservations!

I called the hotel and asked for some general information about a group rate
for the Camaro Caravan. The person I needed to talk to was not there but I
was able to get some info.
1. A group can be as small as 15 rooms to as many as 100 rooms.The rate
that we agree upon will be the same whether we have 15 or 100 rooms.
2. A contract will have to be signed to guarantee an X amount of rooms
will be taken. This can be done about 30 days before the arrival date.
I have no problem signing the contract.
3. We will need to know " how many" will want a room. I know it's too early
for some but we need to start with an X amount.
4. Till I speak to the Property Advisor I'll not know what the rate will be.
I'll try and get the best rate possible for us.
I'll keep all updated as soon as I get infor. For now lets do a head count --
How many will need a room.
I'll check back with you Thurs. as I'll be out of town tomorrow(Wens.)

The Grand Hotel is a nice hotel. I stayed there this summer and made a donation to their casino......If I get my car in time for the fest, I'll be joining up with you guys in Houston.

Expeida has the Grand Casino at $99 checking in on the 15th and out on the 16th. The IP Casino is at $80 a night ( I think its the same company that owns Treasure Island in Vegas). Check it out guys.

Check-in : Thurs. April 15,2010

Rate : Double Occupancy $ 89.00 plus 12% tax

I will have a contract by tomorrow ( fri -Nov 13 ) . Once it has been signed

we will receive a Group Code and a 1-800 # to call. Each party will be responsible

for their hotel reservation. Confirmation will be made with your credit card.

The hotel has giving us the whole 3 floor of covered parkingfor our Camaros.

I'll have Ph # and Code hopefully sometime tomorrow----- AJ
