is there any new hood coming out since i posted this thread?
i like the bumble bee style hood that seibon carbon has but i havent seen anything as far as production on it yet. i heard a while back a few hoods were supposed to come out beginning of the year, so does anyone know about them or what they look like?

If you want a bumble bee hood, buy the SLP hood..

I asked them about that hood when they were at summit for the f body classic. They said its exclusive to the customers buying the zl575 package. I'm sure they may change their mind on that if they don't sell to many. But I do like that hood though.

I think who ever said that was full of it.. They are running a special on them at $985 bucks.. I also found them on other sites by googling it..

You can buy the spoiler, hood w/ grille insert, facia closeout ect.. It does say its coming soon, but you can buy them as stand alone parts..

thats not the same hood that is on the zl575. thats a different hood and the guy who told me this was the owner himself. there are 2 hoods offered by slp and then there is a 3rd hood that iso nly available on the zl575 package.

thats the web site for the zl575 package. the first picture is the hood you are talking about. the 2nd picture is the zl575 hood. not the same. 575 hood scoop comes to the front more than the other hood.

Hmm interesting.. I myself don't really mind it father back, I like it better personally.. Some may not, I'd rather have a GM backed product myself..

the one thats further back is similar to the revolution hood. i personally like the bumblebee style better. if i can get it, i would rather have the zl575 style. i emailed slp on it. ill let you know what they say.

seibon carbon is making that carbon fiber hood almost exactly like the zl575 hood. but i dont think its available yet.

I don't like the revolution because the scoop is too boxy.. I'm planning on getting my rally stripes painted on, I want a smoother transition from the scoop to the hood..
