I didn't say it did.. (read my original post) A comment was made that the SS was getting the A10.. I was just clearing up it's not the same transmission, that it is a lighter version an hoped it worked as well as the ZL1 version..

I don’t recall people asking for less headroom/interior space and needing a smaller trunk

Gotcha. I don’t get why people are surprised it’s not the same. SS and ZL1 don’t share the same version of the TR6060; so why would the automatic be any different

GM does stay that they only lightened up a few things and the quick shifting of the ZL1 will carry over, I hope that is the case. I'm not trading my 17 anytime soon but I plan to drive a A10 SS when it hits the lots this fall just to see how it drives

It's because folks believe their opinion on a given subject is fact.

A retro 2nd gen would make an awesome 7th gen. Just sayin’

I'd personally go w/ the 5th gen 1LE, but my bias is likely showing. LS3's in stock form might be down a few hp on the newer motors, but they're also incredibly tried / true, and have very strong aftermarket representation.
I don't think 6th gen SS's are ugly per se, but are missing something in the design department. I certainly think GM hit all the right notes with the 6th gen ZL1 from a visual point of view though. All of them are better than the upcoming refresh.

Sadly, it would be out of my budget. BTW, it's not a true RS model. I'd definitely trade & make the finances work! |

Happy to drive my first ever appliance in our Sorento SLX. Ranked near the top in its class and everything about it shows. Nothing chevy makes is even close to its refinement and quality. Kia isnt what they used to be at all, and anyone that buys one these days is getting the last laugh.
