The sign of a good shop!! More thorough than any dealer;

Here's what my computer is saying. BCM errors likely due to the new BCM installed a couple of years ago... This also shows my air bag light issue... which they will also fix.

Need all of this addressed before I smog again in the next couple of months and am happy to pay the hefty price tag to get it all fixed.

The bad control arm bushings allow improper movement during acceleration,deceleration and turning, so the shaking will come and go.
My advice would be aftermarket replacements.

I already had BMR aftermarket bushings... guess they went bad?

The polyurethane with metal sleeve, how long you had them on there? Hmm, post up some pics of them after removal if possible.
Maybe go for delrin ones.

And the dealer didn't notice that? OMG! What a bunch of crooks. I'm glad you were able to get it properly checked out by a good shop.

I'm surprised the aftermarket polyurethane bushings went bad like that. I thought they were supposed to last a long time unlike the factory rubber bushings.

Thanks man... maybe it wasn't the bushings... the BMR set have a strong steel inner tube that goes inside the poly surrounding. They are very strong... maybe its the bolts that are worn? Maybe its both... wear and tear sucks...

Drive the hills of Cali often on the weekends... I do put a lot of strain on the suspension. Its been a lot of fun since the Hotchkis set.

My purge line kinks like this too sometimes. It is because when I change the plugs or need clearance, I tend to fold it over away from the engine for the extra room. This has caused mine to crease a little. I will replace it eventually.

Yep, probably what happened to me too. Changed the plugs out about 15k ago.
