Nice dry sunny day... took the car out for spin... captured a bit of video... also did a 0-60 run... problem is it's like 6 degrees out, roads are kind of dirty/dusty and the snow tires just spin a little to easy so I didn't launch hard at all.... But still manage a descent time... previous best was 5.44 sec @ 60.5 MPH. Today's was 5.43 @ 61.5... so basically the same time but 1 MPH faster.. Not bad for just coming off idle...
Ok... back to editing the video... LOL

Ok... Time to grab your headphones again!!! One of the first things I noticed after installing the JBAs is at a stop light the car has a nice little rumble at idle!

Ok.. nothing voids your entire warranty.... Basically the dealer can deny your warranty claim if they can show your aftermarket parts are the cause of your problem. Now some dealership will try and blame all your problems on your aftermarket parts, while other dealership are much more mod friendly... Here's a good overview: http://www.semasan.com/main/main.aspx?id=60128

WOW
Scrming you are the man! My hat is off to all of you taking the plunge into performance so early on the release of this awesome engine! I love my car and cannot wait to do some mods maybe next summer. Right now just enjoying reading what you guys are up to. Thanks again!

scrming would it be better if you heat wrap the headers or not? hoping this was a good question .you seem to be the v6 king when it comes to exhaust.

Very good question! Haven't really had much time to think about it... Will definitely be thinking about it though!

Heat tape would keep the heat in the tubes for whatever that's worth in terms of performance and engine compartment temperatures - may have some slight diminishing effect on the sound radiating from the headers.
Seems to me heat wrap is something most effective to use in localized areas where the headers are coming close to other components which could be damaged from the heat - electronics, specifically. If general engine compartment temps are a concern, then coated headers would be the way to go.
