fastest my camaro goes = the speed limit.

although, back in the day got a 2000 integra type r to 145mph..

don't drive like that anymore, unless I take it to the track.

too concerned about my safety and safety to others.

What is the Top Speed for the 2 SS Versions? I took my SS with Automatik ones up to 250KmH but run out of road so no more was possible.

I agree, its not about the amount of horsepower, lol. Distance to get it to those speeds, gear limits, and drag would be more like it for variables. But I definitely would worry about the tires on this car at that speed. 186 is crazy, but I wouldnt doubt it with that kind of power. I only have 200 or so miles on my Camaro, but I had a 2005 Mustang GT before this Camaro that I got up to 148 MPH thru Nevada. It had a 5 speed and only 425 RWHP with 5 lbs of boost and 3.73 gears, felt seriously stable. And it was a little 4.6, lol. It had way more, I bet it could have gone about 160 -165, gear limited of course.

95 on the Interstate, funny thing is I was still getting passed by 18 wheelers... go figure. I have the Speed Alert set at 80, damn thing goes off ALL THE TIME, but the car is so friggin solid that I don't even notice my speed creeping up until "DING DING DING DING"...

Wish I had some roads like out West I could open her up on safely but I'll wait until I can get some access to a closed course, it is just not worth the risk here in New Jersey. Way too much wildlife along the Interstates, deer mainly. Any standing mile events in the Northeast that someone can bring to my attention, I only know of the Texas Mile so that is a bit too far of the beaten path for me so Google will become my friend today as I look for more.

At 120 the governer kicked in and dropped me back down to 118.

137mph on a stretch of road where there are NEVER any cops, ever!!! But I ran out of road before I could get her any faster. Actually, it's an on ramp to an interstate highway that is just really, really long and the traffic on it is practicly nothing... until it's time to merge onto the interstate.

It was awesome, I did not feel like I was going that fast. It felt more like 95 than 137. Would love to take her up higher than that, but I need a safe race track for that. Especially with this new super speeder law we have now in Georgia.

123 mph for me. I was pulling out of a driveway and laid some rubber as a mustang cobra flew by. When he saw and heard me he floored it. Well I had to see if I could catch him and I did.
