the reason I'm asking is because my 90 looks like it has some air trapped under the clear shiny wrap in a spot just above the little white injen decal.... my boat has a similar type hose for the exhaust but it's just flat black hose, just looks odd to me.....

Well I have some good news about this intake. I'm sure all of you getting this intake are a little worried like I was about hydro-lock but here's some good news. Yesterday I traveled to Topeka Kansas for a track day at Heartland Raceway and well the mother of all storms decided to unleash. After waiting it out in a building for about an hour I run to my car and decide to leave. I had to drive through several inches of water to get back to the highway, including getting sprayed with walls of water by drivers on both sides and thank goodness no problems.....the hydroshield is very well worth it and I can't imagine having an CAI that's designed like this one without one.

Anyway here is the radar from yesterday...Topeka is 'Top' in the NE area of the state. The Drivers meeting started at 4, needless to say, we didn't get on the track. It originally looked like the storm was going to stay north of the track then well it changed directions. :(

Mine came with it too and thank goodness!

Yes, I was pretty bummed...May's track day was canceled due to rain as well. I did get to meet some very cool people, mine was the only Camaro there AND I was the only female out of about 60 drivers.

There were two Lotus Elises, a Viper, a ZR1, three Mini Coopers, a few GTRs, and various Acuras, Infinities, Corvettes, BMWs, several Mustangs and even a Challenger which had to park right next to me haha. It would have been worth the trip just to see those Elises, ZR1, and GTRs and the track together.

Heck yeah. I'd love to have an Exige.

I love mine. It's all I've done as of now and it gave me the bug. I have springs sitting in my garage waiting to be installed and I'm ready to move to exhaust. So much to do to this car.

Aww doggone Aby; I was really looking forward to your report and pictures of the Heartland facility. :( How did the track and facilities there look otherwise?

do the injen cai already come with the hydro shield I'm looking into getting a cai. I'm currently opting for the K&N short ram, due to a very very unlucky situation that i was caught in back when i drove an import, but if the injen cai comes with the hydro shield I'd rather spend $300 on something that adds 15hp then on something that adds 6.
