For a bare bones base model, the cloth actually doesn't seem like a bad idea. I'd go with a different choice of fabric, but if you're getting a bare bones car, that wouldn't be a bad thing to have to dress up the door panels.

Oh my....I've promised myself I wouldn't get another black car after my Saab but....DAMN! It looks like a modern day version of the 69 R/T Charger from Bullitt and I LOVE that car! Probably won't get it in black still but holy hell it is nice in that color when clean...
