At this moment, I would like to say that the OP acknowledged that he did not see the police officer in his rearview, and as such, wouldn't have been able to inform the "rule breaker" anyway.

My apologies for calling out the OP in the way that I did.

IF the OP had known that he/she was there, This does not change my opinion that the so called "rule breaker" and "life endangerer" should have been informed of the police officer on his tail. I'm sorry, but doesn't really matter that the individual broke a law. Are you telling me that you obey every single law every second of the day? No, I don't think so. Get off your high horse. MOST people break laws of all kinds every day of the week and people don't get hurt. Should he have had better SA? Of course he should have, but you can't see everything coming. I would hope that a fellow motorist would help me out instead of leaving me to the wolves.

A little rebellion is good for the soul.

Didn't say it was proof of superiority, only proof of others' stupidity. Are you saying that killing a family of 4 while street racing is smart?

You make me want you to want to ride without a helmet. I'll keep an eye out for the news piece reporting on the outcome. Don't forget, some insurance companies refuse to pay if you're found to be unsafe.

This is exactly what is increasingly becoming wrong with our country. You don't care about breaking that law until it's you that killed the family of 4. But by then, it's too late. You're a murderer.

If you don't care about the laws, why have laws against drinking and driving? Why have laws against taking a chainsaw to your neighbors? Go ahead, do it. After all, it's just a 'little fun,' right?

This is what's called deflecting. You're insinuating that because every person on the planet does not obey every single law at every waking moment of the day, you don't have to worry about the law you are at odds with.

Good luck with that when you're in the courtroom. Let me know how it turns out for you. Be sure to look at the family of the victims and say "Hey, it was just a little fun, what's the big deal?"

So youve never once broken a traffic law, never received a speeding ticket or anything?

Oh and how is something "highly illegal"? WTF does that mean? Its illegal or not.

Anyways, dont ever....ever speed or your doing something illegal and dangerous and you could kill a family of 4.

Everyone knows street racing is dangerous, you dont need to suck up to the forum/mods/rules/owner and tell people its dangerous. Oh also no need for any aftermarket parts on your car. You wouldnt want to accelerate faster because that could be dangerous and kill a family of 16.

Oh, btw people actually die at race tracks too. Better not go there. Its dangerous.

Im not condoning street racing, but I understand it. I have done it, and I will more than likely do it again. That being said, I did it in a responsible way that wouldnt lead to other people being injured. I know you refuse to belive thats possible, but not every street race is at 5:30pm on a highway full of station wagons loaded with children and nuns.

Maybe you should preach the drunk driving route, there are way more families of 4 killed by them every year. Oh or you can tell people not to rob banks, or smoke crack, or steal cars, or cliff jump, or bike without a helmet. Everyone that owns a Camaro is a grown ass man and we dont need lectures from you. Its annoying to be preached to.

Oh and dont watch any movies with street racing in it, or your condoning it.

I am in public service, educated, work hard for my toys, usually responsible, but guilty of the occasional light-to-light race against a fellow muscle car owner. I do not waste my time with any other cars. Its just part of the fun of owning this car. Go ahead and blast me as I will make my decisions and deal with the consequences of such. On another note, enough of the debating, lets get back to talking about FUN Camaro stuff.

If some idiot wanted to race me and there was a cop car behind him, I would not have told him either. Why should I? They need to learn the hard way that way they will not be tempted to do it anymore. I am glad the OP did not say anything to him regardless if he did or did not know the cop was behind him. I bet the guy in the mustang felt like a total tool after he got pulled over.
