Just pm'd David to ask him if wants me to help test. Told him I would do the same testing the same way. I think it would be great though if he did. At least I wouldn't have to be so rough in the wording. lol

As you are hoping, we in fact are testing the V2 intake tube. We do stand behind our product and we are going to release a "Make good" replacement tube which we are sure will impress!

Beta testers are wanted. Please PM me. Also, we are seeking any Camaro5 members in the Phoenix area for dyno testing.

Thanks,
David

Bring on V2! Rather receive the free upgrade than remove the Airaid than reinstall stock.

Great news! I love the fit & finish and the look of the Airaid unit. Glad to see the AFR issue is being addressed.
I want to help test V2 ASAP!

Scrming and Devildoc, we appreciate all you guys have done to inform the Camaro5 community. You've really gone the extra mile to get to the bottom of this. We're all very grateful.

David, we respect your efforts to stay engaged on this issue and rectify the problems. I'm waiting a while longer to see what happens before purchasing a CAI. If Airaid comes up with a solution that provides the performance we are all looking for, I'll purchase it over all others simply for the integrity David has shown.

Many thanks to all of you. Well done, gents...

That's awesome!!! I love the way my Airaid looks, now to get function out of it would be great! So for those of us who already have the unit, would this V2 be a "free" upgrade or would we have to pay for this? I don't want to jump to any conclusions.

Can't be said any better than this. I too had AIRRAID at the top of my list and moving down quickly during all the controversy. However, with the new stepping forward approach things change and I for one will consider their product again first. Once the new testing is performed and results are positive.

Thanks David, hope to do business with your company soon if all goes well.

Just wanted to join the chorus of thanks to Scrming and Devildoc for getting into this on their own time and their own dime. As a future CAI buyer, I really appreciate it.

Also, kudos to David and Airaid for doing the right thing and addressing the problem. Like Scriming already said, it says a lot about the company in my book.

Glad to hear it .
I must ask a question that I am not sure if you can answer lol.
Dose this meen people at Airaid agree that there is some kind of problem with the intake tube? The reason I ask is because this will save some of us time and money doing testing and changing to another intake. Also will this be a free upgrade?
