Actually...you did. But I can see how you'd be confused considering how upset you were over the perceived sexist remark you talked about for 2 pages.

Why are some men shocked that a woman can drive a manual? (not trying to start an argument, just curious) my mom only drives manual transmission cars, heck, my grandmother can drive a manual car fine as that is all she learned on "back in the day".

I learned to drive manual from my grandmother who could drive her but off, in a 96 formula firebird convertible special order, all my dads side drove manual(even the ladies). They dont feel that automatic vettes or any sportscar with auto is a real sports car thats what i was raised around and my wife REFUSES to learn. enough of the rant but i believe men and women can drive manual no matter what type of car if taught properly

If I were to teach my significant other to drive manual in an LS3 Camaro, does everyone think the clutch/tranny are sturdy enough to survive the process? She's a good driver, and a quick learner...

But so is my sister, and she busted up the clutch in her Accord tryin to learn...

this my friend is no Accord, she may stall it a few times or do a couple burnouts, but she will probably pick up on it pretty quickly...

The WHOLE two pages?!

Did you hear that guys? I'm special!

lol whatever dude.

My casual observation is that you are one of those people who says something, and that is it's own validation.

The fact that you said it makes it so.

So clearly you would know better than me my state of mind. I mean, I didn't think I was upset, I didn't FEEL upset. I merely kill time by reading the forum so by and large NOTHING here is of any real import otherwise I would view it more than just when I'm bored.

Buuuuut, since you casually observed something you made up, I suppose I'm going to have to get myself all worked up over it, I mean, I'm damn near passing out over here so I've got a lot of work to do but, by god, you know better than me.

It must get tiring being you. Master of all things, never wrong, always knowing everyone better than they do. I'm exhausted just thinking about it.

Men are just naturally better drivers, stick or auto. That's why Danica Patrick is the only popular female driver, and its called NASCAR not VAGCAR

I only say this in response to guys who say "I had to get an auto so the wife could drive it"

One of these days I'll teach the GF to drive a manual, by telling her to go to a used car lot and tell a sales guy that she loves (random car on their lot) but it's a manual and she does not know how to drive one.

After that, she can drive my SS

LOL.. Can you picture the guy's face??? That would be like the salesman that went on the test drive for a 4X4 Ram with my husband and me in Colorado. Took him to an offroad spot east of Denver. The hill went straight up, I hadn't seen anyone that scared in long time.

I would stack my wife's driving skills up against ANYONE! Especially if it's a manual.
