Hell yeah I would. It's really unfortunate that people still think it's perfectly fine to buy cars bought by five year old asians to save a few dollars, while their neighbors are loosing their jobs. The car industry is a casualty to the terrible economy, and it's unfortunate that lots of blue collar will lose their jobs because of the white collar's greed.

So you wouldn't buy any product from someone who started their business on a loan? That's just ridiculous. Sure, you have your opinion, but it's an uninformed opinion, IMO.

Agreed. I don't get how people can be so dumb sometimes. Most people are totally uninformed -- which is not their fault, it's more Katie Couric (or however you spell that ugly b****'s name) and the media in the US. They have no problems with the banks' bailouts -- and the banks are the ones that screwed the economy --, but they're not fine with giving a fraction of that money, in loan form, to a company that employs a ton of people and is waning because of the economy? People have no loyalty in this country. Sometimes it's embarrassing to be an American, no matter how much I love this country. all the way, scr*w the rest.

So the terrible management, poor panel gaps and plain interior styling are gone? If you're right then I'm a happy camper.

Now the new GM is making better cars and investing in another American plant for sub-compacts. I'm looking at the future as a stronger and more efficient company as soon as they come out of bankruptcy.

Seriously, the new cars they are making are extremely exciting cars for the class they are in. They've been making great cars for the past few years, after their little "mistake years," and I don't see why anyone wouldn't want one.

Sure I would, that is a faulty comparison. But to buy from a failed car company....one who continues to get YOURS and MY tax money?

Now that is pushing it.

I submit to you the ignorance lies with you, my friend.

Does the term "fanboy" resonate with you?

No it doesn't. You just refuse to realize the truth about the money they are getting. It will be seen again when it's poured into the economy.
Are you fine with feeding the executives at AIG, etc? They are getting a hell of a lot more than GM is getting, and they're forwarding it to bonuses for their employees. GM is using their money to try to compete in an economy where they actually pay their employees, unlike the jap companies, and have to deal with a total economic mess. It's ridiculous for you to say "Oh, my tax money is going to a company. I'm going to refuse to help this company succeed, so that money will certainly be waisted." It's just a stupid idea. It is a loan, you must just be pretty slow. But, hey, have fun spending your money on a product that's inferior, and wasting your tax money by helping putting the company it is going to out of business.

NO I am NOT fine with AIG, see, as an American, I am against bailouts. I don't give AIG a penny of my money.

"Jap" companies? You may be showing your bias...the Japanese have perfected the art of auto making, we could learn a lot from them.

Loan? So.....when do you think GM will "pay back" the monies they have been given? Honestly? Man, take the blinders off. Since when should poor performance and customer service be rewarded.

Honestly, just admit it..you are a Chevy fanboy and that is what you like. Just admit it, and you may actually get an ounce of respect here.

You help out a company by purchasing there products, and having people invest in a business that will work, not giving them government loans.

Yeah, but it's not productive to say you will not buy cars from a company that is receiving bailout money. It's actually the opposite, which goes along with your post.
