?

Man that just wrong to do that to the Mustang,
I mean why not start out the gates with a new
design. That orange Mustang with the glass roof
looks better.

If the Stang weighs 3500 pounds it will need at least 380 HP to keep up with the SS. And that's "keeping up", which is far from "kicking ass".

The front looks like they did a combo of 69-70 mustang look...the rear quarter panel tops look sort of like the tops of the camaro's... to me the design just does not flow right.. something just don't fit...

In order for it to be a true Challenger competitor Ford will need to add a bunch of weight to get it closer to the magical 4000 pound lol

I have to say, even though the exterior is not awe-inspiring, the interior is a definite improvement. The current interior looks cheap with excessive chrome. The new dash has some dimension to it that wasn't there before.

At least the Challenger is really great-looking. Even it's overwhelming weight isn't that much a problem because there's a lot of power to match.

The Camaro has the advantage on power-weight ratio and a balanced style of new with old lines. While the Mustang currently has a look of similar style, a refresh will violate that look with too many awkward features.

I'm so grateful that GM got this right by consulting enthusiasts.

They would be nice, but I'm staying loyal to my faster, more balanced, and better looking Chevrolet Camaro.

I will never understand as to why anyone, in any walk of life, for any reason at all would want to purchase a Mustang. I'm joking. Anyway..I would be curious to know how many Mustangs would be sold to older men and women if Ford decided to take the shiny pony of the front of the Mustang.

I know exactly what you mean. They don't excite you at all when you see them. Because they're so common I guess. Around every corner it's no surprise to see a Mustang. It's just a matter of how disappointed you'll actually be. If it's a GT you're a little disappointed that it's not something more exciting. If it's a 6 cylinder you want to light it on fire. That is if you're me.

Here's my objective opinions on the major three:

The Chally has the best looking exterior, but it needs to be about 5% smaller and they really should have attempted an original interior. The weight's already been brought up.

The Mustang has a good looking exterior, but the interior definitely could use some polish (which I'm glad Ford took note of in the updated version). It's times rival the Chally SRT-8 at about 10k less (at MSRP, of course). Great bang for the buck, as long as you're going in a straight line.

The Camaro's styling is simply "okay" to me in the pictures (I'm sure it will look much better in person, and in red). Well designed interior, and most likely the quickest of the three base V8 trims. Not wild about the trunk design, visibility is going to be poor, and premium fuel will hurt the wallet (although to my understanding, it CAN run on regular but will take a hit in power).
