Mine is still sitting as OSH awaiting trasnport by train. :(

I am bummed to say the least, but to those that already have yours enjoy it and post pics for those of us still waiting.

CUPRA, I hope you can work out something with the dealer.

Just trying to judge the wait times. Seemed like yours took awhile. Some 6/21 guys think theirs is on a truck already and I jsut dont see anyway that is possible. Think the dealer is feeding them a big pile o poo. Yours was built on the 10th and just got shipped. I know many other were already shipped. Probably alot of shipping stuff we jsut dont understand. Wonder if some never even hit a train and jsut get loaded on trucks for the shorter deliveries.

I thought the wait would be easier once mine was built but its gotten 10x worse now!

The misses is stuck in Hinkle, OR. It has been their since this morning and is expected in Portland on Wednesday. Hinkle is only a 3 hour drive yet it is going to take 2 more days to get here. Then it has to wait for a truck to take it to the dealer which is 20 minutes away. That will probably take another 2 or 3 days. Its beginning to look like another week before we get a car that is 3 hours away. I am still hoping to take delivery on Friday so we can take the 2 Camaros to a Camaro gathering on Saturday.

Lock, my was produced and finished on 6.8.10 and then put on QA hold for a day or so. I do agree with you that there is a lot of shipping stuff we don't know about.

IMO, I think the reason it took so long for my car to get moving is the car is heading West and many East coast orders are faster to ship East than West. I just received word today via CSX tracking that my car is now moving through Battle Creek, MI, but it was on-hold in Battle Creek, MI for about a day. This might have been caused by the railroad car changing trains to continue west. I am thinking it might be another week before it is finally her is AZ.

I also agree with you that with the car now moving the wait is much worse than the actual build. So many things can delay the shipment.

I was told that once the car is passed onto to Union Pacific it will go very fast as there are fewer stops along the way. Someone else on the forum also indicated that the wait for the car to get to the dealer was agonizing, and now I can understand what they went through.

We will get through this and truly appreciate our cars, once we get them home.

Just checked mine again. It's at an interchange in Salem Illinois. It is now pretty much exactly 1/2 way between Oshawa and Dallas!
