ls3 solo cats with corsa

Just got home from having my second set installed. Weird thing is I do have a CEL. I'm going out to have it scanned to see what it is. My first set didnt set the CEL.

Looks like SOLO has chance their O2 extenders since I got my first set. Surely that's not the reason for the CEL. Off to the shop

Make sure they are installed in the rear most bungs and that there are no leaks! Even the smallest leak can cause a CEL. Sometimes, we have even seen people forget to plug something back in.

took a long drive today and no cel. damn sure sound nice!!!

Well they pulled and reset the codes. Codes were on all 4 sensors. After they were cleared, the CEL came back on in about 20 minutes. So I went back to the shop. This time it was only the rear two sensors. The codes showed the rear sensors to be bad but not cat codes. So now I'm quoted $329 installed for the two rear sensors.

The sensors must be very very delicate. Although they were in from the factory, then in my first set of mid pipes, back into the factory pipes and now into the new mid pipes. The guy at the shop had a hard time getting both rear sensors out. Probably the reason they are bad now.

I need to find cheaper rear sensors somewhere.

I'm actually in Lancaster so pretty close to E. Aurora! Lots of snow now! Can't wait till Spring to start enjoying the sound of Solo cats again!
