Now that lady is sayin we depart Arbourdale Kansas @4:30pm and pushed our ETA up to 2:30am on 11/7 to Mira Loma California...

Mine has been sitting in Amourdale, ks for over a day waiting for more cars to go west. i think that would be you socal guys hopefully mine will still be here b4 the weekend, if not then i wont be able to pick up til next week :(

Just got this note from my nieghbor:

Tracking Mike's car. It was released from oshawa ON. last night at 2144. Due in Salem IL. on Nov. 7th and departing on train ADESP 07 at 2200. Due to arrive in Spring Tx. on Nov. 9th at 935am. then will be taken to unload by a local train at Westfeild auto facility in Spring on the 10th. Auto tains usually arrive early depending on the traffic on the railroad at the time.

that's sounds logical since AZ is the stop before Mira Loma California--ours is scheduled to arrive 11/7 @2:03am so that would mean yours will prob be in AZ Friday 11/6 sometime--that is, at the rate we're moving now...I'm not sure if there are anymore 1-day layovers on our route since the longhorns(TX) have taken a different route--and I don't see any NM folks on here at all...thoughts?

FYI, Google Earth There is a railroad layer buried in Layers> Places of Interest> Transportation> Rail. The layer appears as black colored paths on the map.

At the rate my railcar is going I should hopefully be able to take delivery this Friday!!!

Got my train # today. I called the company to track and it said something to the effect that the it was pulled from customer location today. Does that mean the train left Oshawa today, or is there some unfortunate delay and they didn't ship it yet?

i am thinking that is correct. my dealer told me that it goes from oshawa to illinois, to kansas, nm, az, and cali.

and he has been accurate on all of the stops, where they park it for the night. so i am thinking as long as there is no other mishaps or interchanges then that should be the day for us and you.

Hey Baclarsen, Have you recieved a revised estimate to the rail yards. I spent this morning at the dealer trying to determine why they haven't updated me with anything.

I arranged my financing through my credit union (3.7% WooHooooo) and walked in with a buyers check. That got them hopping. Fortunately for him, the salesmanager was off today or he would have gotten an a&& chewing. I mentioned that the camaro enthusiast on Camaro5 with no vested (monetary) interest where much more helpful, and that if they couldn't get off their backsides I would take my buyers check and head down the road. Sales lady threw in the exhaust install and a car cover for free. Thats what they offered to chill me out...I didn't ask for any of it but I damn sure won't tell them no.. Tommorow I am going back when the sales manager is there (as they told me to do) and getting in his backside. The new senior sales manager was very apologetic for the dealership but couldn't say anything for the guy that was off. I haven't recieved any updates from them for 6 weeks. The SM apparently told my sales rep that he was communicating with me almost daily. Thank Goodness for you guys and Camaro5.

My sales person told me that if I wanted, we could go to the railyard in San Antonio as soon as the car shows up there and pick it up and I could drive it back to Austin to the dealership. That would certainly be cool and I am going to take her up on it. I pick the gas to go in it and no-one else gets in it to hot rod it around the dealership lot.

One more thing, about the trains, I was told that a few weeks ago they had a rail car number and they called for an updated location. It was supposed to be in Illinois at the time but the car was sitting in the dealership lot... They were looking at it, but the customer said he had trouble getting updates for it so they tried it while they were looking at the car... on their lot.... and were told it was in Ill. Maybe our cars are closer than we think...
