We would like to thank all of you who came up to join us this year. Yes, last year was tough to beat but I think we at least tied it! There are a few people we would like to thank:

To everyone's favorite dealers : Little_Bank_Robber (Sparta Chevrolet, Sparta Michigan), SS-Eric (Classic Chevrolet, Grapevine Texas) and Camaro Scotty (Newman Chevrolet, Cedarburg Wisconsin) - We are so proud to be the first event where all 3 of you were able to attend together. Love the 3 of you (we proved this early Sunday morning).

Along with the dealerships above, we would like to thank Surgenor Buick GMC (Ottawa, Ontario), Nurse Chevrolet Cadillac (Whitby, Ontario), Martinrea, Hugger Car Covers, ACS Composites, the Camaro Country F-Body Group club, SPI Performance, Limestone Emroidery (Kingston) and Tyler Construction for their generous donations. Your sponsorship meant that there was no cost to anyone to participate in this year’s event (which is almost unheard of these days) and that we had some awesome goodie bags and raffle prizes. To Marinrea and Nurse Chevrolet Cadillac- what an incredible spread you put on for us and thank you so much for your generous hospitality. We hope you will all be involved again next year.

To the people who came from long distances - Bamaproshop (Alabama), CajunCamaroChick (Louisiana), SS-Eric and JnK (Texas), El Ess X (South Carolina), Ruffian (Colorado), Ravirn (Alberta)… Please let me know if I have missed someone.... A huge THANK-YOU! You really opened some eyes at the GM plant with respect to how passionate and thankful you are to the workers.

To all the returning Camaro5 members (who also drove for hours to get to Oshawa): Angelina, PSSIRAB, Banshee (and the whole Michigan gang), TRM002, (and the whole Upsate NY gang), CamaroRick, SugarNSpice, RickRay, Luckynuts & Reddhot, (and the whole Montreal/Ontario east gang) - Thanks for being there from day 1 - this wouldn't be half the party without you. We love you all (we proved this early Sunday morning) . We've also added a new regular event for future years thanks to you: It will be called "The TRM Invasion". 'Nuff said!

Thanks to all the GM folks who made this possible: Dan Hermer, Oshawa Autoplex General Manager, Tony Larocca, Director of Communications - GM Canada, George Branson (MrBrans5), Linda Landry and Mike Judge (Super60) who all spent months getting the word out within the plant. Special thanks to Mike and Linda - Mike had awarded all who participated this year a litho and Linda was our BBOMG negotiator as well as went out of her way to donate a 2010 Camaro book signed by over 200 employees from the Flex plant. A big thank you goes out to Chris Buckley and the local UAW as well as Oshawa Mayor (and fellow Camaro enthusiast) Mayor John Gray for supporting the event and it's purpose.

Thanks to all the members who participated for the first time this year and those that and are reading this but aren't members here – we hope you had a great time and hope you will return again next year.

In addition to the above, I also want to give some personal thanks (I promise, this won't be a CamaroScotty style speech).

Firstly the other organizers. Many people have been posting and giving their personal thanks to Hylton and I. Your thank yous are greatly appreciated. But while for any event there must be people at the centre of it all, it's really the people surrounding that centre that make it happen. From the sponsors, to those that helped, to everyone that participated - The sum of these parts makes the event greater as a whole (and that's hard for an accountant to say ). So thanks to all of you for making this a success.

On a personal level I would like to extend a thank you to all of the participants for making this year's event such a memorable one. I had fun helping to put it together and even more fun participating. I've attended some pretty amazing car-related events in recent history and yet this one stands on top.

And finally, there is some very special people that made this event one that will never be forgotten (you know who you are) - Words cannot express the friendship - so we will leave it with a simple "Thank you".
