The car just came out a few months ago. A lot of them aren't broken in yet and they haven't fallen into the hands of stupid kids that street race yet.

Yeah I agree that it will take time d/t the fact a lot are not broke in yet and also because the car is not as cheap to buy as they used to be. It used to be the Mustang was by far the cheaper way to go and the performance was outstanding. Now the performance is still outstanding but the price is outrageous.

I wouldn't say that about the price. It's comparable to a Camaro SS and cheaper than a Challenger R/T.

You can get, at some dealers, a base model GT with a stick for mid-low 29K.

If thats outrageous..then I guess a loaded 2SS Camaro is just plain crazy?

I have not seen one yet, but I've only seen maybe 2 SS, all other Camaro's I see are V6's

weird, seems like most Camaro sales are performance models while most of the Mustangs I see day to day are v6ers. anyone know why that could be?

I seem to remember when the Camaro first came out, GM wasn't ready for the number of people ordering SS's. I feel like SS's were on constraint for a while. Even now when I see Camaros, it's maybe 60-40 V6 vs. SS.

Hmmm. We started an UpstateC5 club here in Central NY back in July. We are up to 61 members with 5th gens and only 11 of the 61 being V6s. All great cars. It probably just varies from region to region. Oh yeah we added this guy too. We think it might be a Mustang. Member Black1HP
