On the LCA, I'm waiting to see/hear some results from the new sways made for the 2012 LCAs. If you stay with 2010/11 sways, I don't think you need to change them out unless you are wanting to go to a 17" or 18" wheel.

cool... yeah i saw they moved the sway bar link for 2012... and read that Pedders has a new sway bar for it either out already or coming out soon. haven't seen anyone with a new design LCA yet.

Def check out the SW Ohio mod day thread. Come an hang out and we can answer any questions you have. I've installed a lot of suspension stuff on various 5th gens.

We are pretty booked up work wise but come and hang out!

Really don't anything to add to what's been said. Take your time with the washers, after enough prying they will finally pop off. I would wait for the springs and do it all at once.

I will def try to make it down for mod day just to hang out and meet people since its not that far for me.

Cruise ins will be tough for me now. Milford would be about all I could swing since I'd have to go home and get Will first.

So...I plasti dipped my wheels (for now). And looks like it needs lowered bad. Anybody have h&r springs. Seem to be the biggest drop and heard a lot of good things about them. Also. Anybody going to fest know if they will have any good deals on coilovers. I found a set for $280.

Best bet if you are lowering a V6 is to get a set of the SS Struts. The V6 struts are a tad longer and some of the drop springs do not work well with V6 struts. You can find brand new take off SS struts on ebay from SLP for about $75.
